Acme gets my vote over the Bridgeton shop rite. Clean store, nice staff with little turnover. Prices not bad at all if you buy generic. Easy, relaxed shopping without the hectic, dreaded grocery store feel like shop rite.

I choose Acme over Shop Rite most of the time. Although the prices generally aren’t as low, it’s easier to get in and out of Acme and it’s never as crowded. The employees are nicer, and the lines aren’t nearly as long, if there is a line at all. I like Acme’s bakery and their prepared chicken a lot better than Shop Rite. I also love when they do 10 for $ 10…it’s a good excuse to stock up on the items I buy anyway.

Like the Buy One, Get One Free meats. Also love the friendly cashiers who always give my kids stickers (even if they try to put the stickers all over the backseat of my car). Could use a bit of a bigger produce section (the space is there), but otherwise it’s a quality grocery store and the prices aren’t that horrible.
