Century Bakery

I’ve heard good things about them since we moved here, so I was happy when my husband brought home a birthday cake from this shop. Cake was pretty and delicious. Loved it.

I maybe from Delaware, but that doesn’t stop me from coming to century bakery in south jersey. This bakery hands down has the best donuts you will ever possible have, the donuts filled with butter cream are absolutely to die for. Just about any baked good you buy there is sure to impress. If you’re looking for a nice bakery in the area it has to be century.

Best buttercream donuts ever! The staff is friendly and helpful. Was disappointed when not only could I not get a Saint Joseph’s came there-​but also they they had no idea what I was talking about.

ok, great donuts but stuck behind the times. Don’t do custom cakes. They pour
the batter in a tin pan. Not even a quarter inch thick. I don’t want my cake in a tin
pan. I wanted a great cake for my daughters graduation. All they could do is
stick photo on the cake. That’s it? How long has this bakery been in business?
Buy a couple Wilton cake pans!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I’m originally from the area, but have since moved to Philly. Whenever I come back to visit I always stop in! I LOVE sweet sweets and Century Bakery delivers. Perfect cakes, too — doesn’t leave that «cheap» aftertaste in your mouth. One time the cake decorator was out so they let me do my own decorating… lol. It was a mess, but fun! Awesome treats and fun staff. Love this place.

Absolutely the best bakery in this area! Blows every other bakery away. Their donuts are hands down the best. Their cakes, amazing! And the service is what you want to expect from a business. The only place I’ll go to for my baked goods!

Where to start? The fried donuts are to die for like Leonidas and the brave 300. Their buttercream icing will make anything taste 150% better than it has any right too. they bake tradtiional goods to go with holidays and there is never a long wait for service.

It’s been years (or probably half of my life) since I’ve had a cake or cookie from Century Bakery.
Almost ALL of my birthday cakes growing up were from them. (They had quite a few cat/​kitten designs for a little girl’s dream sheet cake, let me tell ya. I think I repeated a pattern only on one occasion!) I also LOVED their molasses cookies. It was a special treat on the way home from the library to stop in and get a cupcake or a cookie.
I am happy that they are still in business. I hope to order some sort of cupcake/​wedding cake for a reception in November of this year. I can’t wait!
My only gripe is about their website: Like, there is none. You go to the URL and you’d expect to at least have a menu or pricing to order, but it is a static page with the address and hours only. :-(
