Happy to have one near me, I appreciate a healthy fast choice. However, they are very skimpy on the meat and will charge over $ 2 for an extra little scoop.

It sucks because I really want to like chipotle, I appreciate their more animal centered sourcing mission and have had good food there before, but Cilantro is vile and they are incapable of making anything without it. I wouldn’t be surprised to find some in my soda here. Once a really nice manager gave me diced tomatoes, and said just ask and they would be glad to give me some. This filled me with great hope for this chipotle. Well, as it turns out, he was glad to give me some, no one else at this location is. My visit today will be my last for a while.

Chipotle, now listen, they have had a bad wrap lately, but this place just blows the competition away, from before the fiasco until now I have had nothing but the BEST service from this place and it’s employees. They are my family away from my family, my nightly lunch stop and just so pleasing to interact with! Plus, they know how to make a good tortilla chip! I just want to give a HUGE shout out to you guys because you are just A+ when it comes to your customer service and your food and I appreciate ya stuffing my belly almost every day! Thanks guys! –Laura

So I would just like to give a huge shout to this chipotle on McKelvey, I have been eating chipotle since its conception in Denver years ago it is very near and dear to me. Chipotle is delicious, but there is just something about this one that sets them apart, makes them world class! The food always tastes perfect. always you say? Yes literally every time. The employees are attentive and on point they all have so much pride in what they do, at least once at every visit a manager or employee will ask if you are enjoying your meal.(I always am of course!). It’s always with the wait if there is one. This is the best chipotle in my opinion if you’re in the area stop and get a burrito, or bowl or whatever your hear desires.

Walked in and practically right back out. Stinks like rotting meat filthy front door and floors and disorganized. Really gross. In California this chain is high end immaculate and friendly as all get out. WTH? BTW the sofritas are excellent(in California). Just couldn’t stand this location.

Worst service I have ever seen at a chipotle! Stood in line for 15min with only 3 people in front of me and the people working were rude and extremely slow. Then the lady at the register got upset because she forgot to ring up the guacamole even though I told the lady making the burrito right in front of her. Needless to say when I’m back in St. Louis for work I won’t be back here!

Super friendly workers, outstanding service. Feeling wiped out from a long day until I walked in to their establishment. Great attitudes by all the people who helped me. The manager should be very proud of their staff. Large portions and food was excellent as well. Thank you!!!

Disappointing first visit to this newer location. First the parking area is cramped but it is what it is. We got there right near the tail end of dinner rush and the restaurant seating area was disgusting. Food was all over the floor and the tables were dirty. This location could benefit from a person designated to cleaning, sweeping & wiping tables in the dining area. The bathrooms were frightening– looked worse than a gas station bathroom I walked in and walked right back out. I gave it two stars because the service was fast and the food was decent. At best. They are heavy on the beans and rice in the burritos. Maybe it’s better when they aren’t busy. Probably will not go back.

Ordered online. Got there right at pickup time. Order not ready. Took 5 minutes to put the order together. Then took 10 minutes to get the lady who had cash register duty to come ring me out. No one in line at the time also. 10 workers doing everything but helping me. Then– get to go eat my food and find that my chips with the order were stale.

I like a huge burrito with more than 2 tablespoons worth of meat, if you like bean and rice burritos this is the place for you!

Love love love this place! This is my food pit stop of choice. Always fresh, great value, sammies are almost too big to finish once you get everything you want in there. Salad is also great and love that the meat is all naturally raised. Definitely worth trying!

This is a newer Chipotle that will celebrate its one-year anniversary this summer(2015). Google Maps seems to think it is in the Plaza at DePaul shopping center somewhere between Kohl’s and Aldi. Not quite. It’s actually a stand-alone restaurant located in front of Kohl’s, just off of McKelvey Road. Other reviewers have said this location is small, but I’d say the size is comparable to other Chipotle restaurants in the STL area. It’s bigger than the Kirkwood location for sure! However, the seating arrangement might make it seem small. Unfortunately(for me), most of the seating is counter seating with stools. For comfort, I prefer a chair with a back, but they only have a few tables. A couple of those tables are set up at a recessed booth that I absolutely adore!(Before dining at this Chipotle, I had no idea I was such a fan of recessed booths.) However, the booth always seem to be taken. One day I will sit at that booth. Mark my words, one day I will sit at that booth! I eat at Chipotle frequently, and I have never had a bad experience at this location. I’ve had a skimpy bowl. No biggie. I should have asked for more rice/beans.(More on that later.) Some of my fajita veggies have been a little blackened, yes. However, I’ve had that issue at various locations. It happens. I strongly disagree that this is the«wors[t] Chipotle, even. .. worse than the. .. one off of Olive.» I actually like this one more than the one on Olive, and I like the Olive location quite a bit. :) I will conclude with the following information, suitable for Chipotle first-timers. –A Brief Guide to Chipotle, by Kitty W.– –Chipotle operates like Subway. You tell them what you want, and they make it for you. –First, you will choose your meal: burrito, burrito bowl, crispy tacos, soft tacos, or salad. –Then, you tell them how to make it. You will choose from rice(white or brown), beans(black or pinto), fajita vegetables, protein [sofritas(tofu), chicken, steak, barbacoa, or carnitas(when/if they have carnitas again)], salsa(mild fresh tomato salsa, medium roasted chili-corn, medium tomatillo-green chili, or hot tomatillo-red chili), sour cream, cheese, and lettuce! Whew! That’s a lot of stuff, but I’m about to add one more thing! –Guacamole also is available for your meal. However, unless you are getting a veggie bowl(no sofritas or meat), guacamole costs extra. –Unhappy with your portion size? With the exception of sofritas, meat, and guacamole, you can ask for a li’l more of everything else. Though, I’m sure they have limits. :) –Lastly, if you are a slow eater like I am, your food probably is going to get cold. That is particularly true if you are having a burrito bowl, especially if you’ve topped it with various combinations of salsa, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. You might want to limit your cold ingredients if that is a concern for you. That’s just some advice from me to you. [Side note: I actually don’t mind when my burrito bowl gets cold. I’m THAT into Chipotle. I even Shazam the music while I’m there. I have a playlist of songs from Chipotle that I sometimes play for my cats. They seem to really enjoy Röyksopp. Wow, this review just got weird.]

A typical Chipotle location. Normally I give Chipotle 4 stars as an average, as their food is always wholesome, made on site using socially-responsible ingredients, and quick service. This delivers in all those departments, however I dropped a star because there isn’t as much seating at this location and parking would be an absolute nightmare during a lunch or dinner rush. Very small parking lot; though there is a Kohl’s parking lot within a short walking distance nearby.

The bowls are typically very good but recently ordered the steak bowl and was very disappointed. I ended up with a bowl of junk steak parts — every piece full of fat & gristle; was inedible. A $ 10 meal down the drain. Stick with chicken or pork. The steak is not worth the upcharge.

So living in Missouri we don’t have as many fast fresh options available as more health conscious areas. There is a chain that hopefully everybody should be familiar with here and if not they should get familiar with it, it is Chipotle! Recently a new one just opened up not too far from my job; once I found out I was chomping at the bit to go for a healthier yet flavorful lunch. Since they opened, I’ve been here during lunchtime and in the evening and this place is always bustling with customers. There is always fresh chicken or beef on the grill in the back and lots of fresh fixings. On my last trip I picked up two naked veggie bowls(you don’t have to pay the upcharge for guacamole if you get a veggie item). Everything was good and the flavor they are known for was certainly present but I did notice that some of my fajita veggies were over cooked and thus blacked so I had a burnt taste for a few bites. I love that they actual sell adult beverages here but it would be even better if they had a sweet treat at the end(like their competition). Also, when I have chips I usually want something to dip them in — for what the charge for the chips you should get something like a queso etc. but you don’t. Unlike, Qdoba they don’t have a loyalty program, so you can go in there spend lots and get nothing(it also cost more than Qdoba but there isn’t one very close). This place is always packed. If you are not a newbie and know what you want, do yourself a favor and place your order online before. Then, when you get there it’s ready and you walk right up to the nice ladies at the register and walk out. Plus it will save time on your lunch break and you can pick the time you want it ready so it will still be fresh and hot!

Wow. The worse Chipotle, even more worse then the Ghetto one off Olive. They don’t put no meat in your tacos, and then they have the nerve to charge you 1.95 for some dark guacamole, and $ 8 for this small Burrito. I only gave two stars because the customer service was ok. Even then the other employees came telling the kid that was making my food to go wash his hands.

Chipotle is great at what they do and they stay in that lane. I love the fact that the menu is so succinct and they dont try to do everything that everyone else is doing but what they do attempt is at the highest standard and quality that can be acheived IMO. Burritos are great, bowls are great, tacos are great, and the prices are great as well. One of my favorite options for a really quick meal that you don’t feel bad about later(though I never have felt bad about a good meal).

Brand new location off st Charles rock rd. cute inside w many stools & maybe 8 tables inside but a patio outside as well. I really only frequent qdoba but got a work group of 17 people to try out chipotles new location. Pros: the place is cute, trendy, staff real friendly. Food is fresh. Cons:(& these matter the most to me) Parking lot very small especially coordinating 7 car groups. We all parked at the adjacent kohls parking lot. Food: although fresh, only 4 ounces was placed in my chicken bowl /1 scoop. Qdoba does a 2 huge scoop standard, but I always get. 3 scoops! So I had to ask for way more. However the corn salsa & extras was piled on. There are no BBQ sauces or fun cheese sauces. I would have really enjoyed that w my chips & chicken bowl! So it lacked alittle in flaver. No cookies or brownies or any extras there. Probably will not return but head to nearest qdoba(fifth st.)

The place opened this past Friday(June 13) at least I believe they did. We made our first over SEVERAL trips here on Saturday. The place was packed. Like typical Chipolte fashion, the line went quick and in less then 5 mins I was eating the first of many burrito bowls. I’m sad that I won’t be frequenting the Creve Coeur location as often as I did, but to have a Chipolte less then 2 miles from my house is a win for me. I love this place and of the past two days is any indication, they’ll crush it!!! Good luck to Chipolte Crew and I’ll see you again this Friday the 20th!
