This place skeeves me out. From the road, it seems decent; large parking lot and sign out front. However, upon entering, it is eerily empty. I later realize it is for good reason. At the register there are two men who seem to have better things to do. I get my shoes and head over to the lane. At this point I noticing the tacky and severely outdating carpeting, equipment and décor. This entire place needs a makeover. After the games are finished, I hand the man my bowling shoes. All he does is spray a disinfectant in them and returns them back to a cubby hole. GROSS. It is at this point I vow to never return to Pike Lanes ever again regardless of how cheap their prices. This place could be good for a kids birthday party. I am talking three-six year olds. Just bring lots of disinfectant and socks!

It looks nice inside and out but the equipment is JUNK!!! Not very well maintained, and has been this way for many years. Add to it that Pike’s «legacy» is forever tainted as far as I’m concerned because of the Loyle lanes fire. This place is a pitifully far cry from what Loyle lanes was. So what if they simply change the name, Pike will always be Pike! I totally disagree with how their website boasts«family owned since 1958.» That is a big LIE and everyone knows it! They don’t know how LUCKY they are that Loyle lanes can’t rebuild, which is such a shame! How can people continue to bowl there, as if nothing ever happened, with a clear conscience? I sure can’t, and for that reason I will gladly drive the 45 mins to Egg Harbor City to bowl.
