Very nice and clean Lowes. Great selection of Christmas décor, plants, and electronics. Offering Black Friday sale early so you don’t have to fight the traffic and crowds. The only place I could find plate hangers! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Always have what I need and more than I want. It might be one of favorite places to shop. Returning some paint that didn’t match the swatch on the color board, don’t know what the problem is but they are helping me out and stated that they would try to fix the issue. I will write back and let you all know how it goes, Wish me luck. I’ve never had a bad experience here. A guy name Trent generally works here and Helps me out. He seems very knowledgable confident and honest.

Blech. In my humble opinion, this Lowe’s sucks. I’ve been here a few times, looking for flooring materials, paint, and a lawnmower, and each time I left sorely disappointed. Not only does Lowe’s charge for flooring samples(whereas Home Depot does NOT – I went to the stores back-to-back to compare), but most of the ones they had were out of stock when I went in. When I came looking for a gas lawn mower, again, they didn’t have one, not even ONE, in the aisle! Just one $ 500 rechargeable one, and no reel/push mowers, either. Their paint samples section leaves a lot to be desired, too, with lots of mis-matched paint chips. I will not be back.

I tend to forget just how important customer service is and go for the easy. Then I end up kicking myself, like this time. I had to run to Lowe’s for a broken toilet replacement part and decided to pop over and check out the fridge since my ice maker was busted(it has been a rough month for me). I was completely ignored by the person working in that department and I didn’t feel like trying to chase someone else down so I just browsed through the fridges, found the one I wanted and ordered it online from home that night. I went with Lowe’s because it was a good deal, a good price with free delivery and 18 months no interest. I’m a sucker for a deal. Stupidly, I stuck with Lowe’s of Bridgeton for delivery. The night I ordered, I received an email saying my order was being processed and I’d hear from them soon to schedule delivery. An entire week later I missed a call from Lowe’s. Not to schedule delivery, but to ask. «What do you think of your new fridge!?» Fail. I called the employee who had left the message, but of course she was gone all weekend. Then I tried contacting the delivery department on a Saturday — no answer. On Sunday I emailed the customer service department. By Tuesday after no answer via email I called them. They essentially just called Bridgeton and set up a delivery appointment for me. I was excited to hear they delivered on a Sunday and accepted the 8 – 12 appointment. The next day some sort of Lowe’s manager called me to apologize. Didn’t offer a gift card or any other kind of compensation for my lost time, just«sorry». So today the fridge came. They called me with a 15 minute heads up, which was nice. The workers were friendly, they had to take the doors off the fridge to get it in but they were careful not to scratch the walls. I overheard them talking about a lack of pressure in my in-door water system, but they twiddled with the pipes and seemed happy with it and off they went. Half an hour later, I notice my dog licking the floor by the fridge. licking up the POOLOFWATER under it. *sigh* Unfortunately for me the area under the fridge was not tiled when the kitchen was done by previous owners, so I had several spare pieces of drywall under there to even out the floor under the fridge. That was completely soaked through. Apparently the guys hadn’t adequately tightened the water hose in the back. I had to pull the fridge away from the wall and tighten the stupid thing myself. and then clean up the wet soggy drywall from the floor. They’re just lucky my dog alerted me to the leak before it damaged anything. Never again, Lowe’s. Never again.

As I’ve stated in a review of a different Lowe’s location, I really am not a fan of big-box lumber stores. The quality of their wood is subpar. You have to search for wood that isn’t warped, and they do not have formaldehyde free plywood. Therefore, I am a bit biased against Lowe’s. That being said, Lowe’s is one of my go-to places for staples for my upholstery stapler. Also, they carry Kreg jigs and the screws, so it saves me from having to order screws when I’m in the middle of building something.
