The food at this location is always hot and fresh, service is adequate and usually quite friendly. Table service/cleaning seems to be nonexistent at least during their daily and very busy lunch services. Grabbing a table during those peak times can also be a little difficult as they do a very brisk lunch business with both the hospital and numerous industrial parks being very nearby.

Awesome place if you want some good food and to be around classy people in Bridgeton MO. The employees are very nice and the service is extremely fast. You will not be disappointed. Perfect place to sit down and type away on your laptop. Surf the Internet or get work done. Enjoyed the vibe. A pleasant place to be in the area. Quiet but not too quiet.

I’ve been to many BreadCo’s and I have always liked everything about them. As for my visit to this one I don’t like the way they focus on the customers staying in for a meal. I placed my order online to go and waited 20 min. People who came in and placed orders received their orders within 4 – 5 min. This is not acceptable to me, I was in a hurry also and that’s why I placed it online but I still had to wait.

I study at Bread Co all the time. I should seriously buy stock in this place. This location is my backup place. I love the Creve Coeur Old Olive location, but in a pinch, I’ll come here since it is the closest one to my house. It’s ok. The food is the same, but I don’t get the same feeling here. The employees aren’t quite as friendly. It feels more closed up because the ceiling is a normal height and not 20 feet tall like the Creve Coeur one. It does get really busy and really full at lunch. Good for popping in and out for lunch or dinner, but for hours and hours of studying, I prefer the other location.

Another solid visit. Very friendly staff. Order taken quickly. Order ready quickly. Got the pick two chicken wild rice soup and the Mediterranean chicken flatbread. The soup was good, one of my favorites. Sometimes there’s heavy powder flavor but this was good. I like the BBQ flatbread better but this had a good flavor with the hummus. I think there was too much cheese for me. Lemonade was refreshing and tasty. Recommend this location. It would be awesome if they had drive through but it’s still a great place.

These guys can never get the order right. Strawberry poppy-seed salad(no chicken) has always come with chicken for me. Today was the 4th time this happened — twice I gave it to my co-workers; have already taken it back once; will take it back again this evening!!! At least when I took it back last time, they gave me a coupon for $ 6.00 … grateful for the consideration but seriously I would rather have my order right the first time. Have you heard DIRFT = DOITRIGHT the FIRSTTIME.

I enjoy eating at bread company. I am a vegetarian and they offer a number of choices that I enjoy. I try to go early or late at lunchtime in order to avoid the crowds. Everyone is very nice. I wish they had a drive thru. I would go more often.

I would give zero stars if I could. Staff stood around gossiping and ignoring the manager who seemed overwhelmed. I was 1 of 2 in line and they couldn’t decide which pair of registers would take my lunch order — even after the manager yelled to the staff I was waiting. Plus the food menu is difficult to read as the salad list is blocked by the food prep area wall.

I will never go to this location again. I often visit the Westport location where the employees are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I came to the Bridgeton location tonight and the cashier was rude and clearly didn’t want to work. No one else was waiting for food. I stood there waiting for two cups of soup to go for nearly 20 minutes while the employees goofed off in front of me. When I asked about my order the young man working acted as if I asked for a million dollars. Will not step foot back into this location.

The employees are more interested in bickering and flirting then getting my food ready.

The service is very slow here. It took the girl 10 minutes to make a drink for the customer ahead of me which caused the lines to get long. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing. So 10 minutes of waiting in line to then be told they were out of bagels. They only had 2 whole grain bagels left. I got there 3 hours before closing so there should have been more bagels there. I won’t be back again. I went down to Jack in the Box nearby and spent my money there instead.

This location is not awesome compared to others. The service was pretty poor with a long line to order and only one register open. Meanwhile, an employee actually vacuuming the carpet during the middle of the day and the manager conducting an interview. To be safe I ordered a salad figuring they couldn’t screw that up too bad. They didn’t and it arrived fairly quickly. The place is pretty dirty, despite the vacuuming. There are probably better places for a fairly quick meal in the area. I’d steer clear.

I am rating this location lower than others because of a couple of mediocre experiences in a row. One of which involved the use of a reward that I didn’t want to use on the particular visit. The other occurred on a different day and involved the fact that every open table on the place was dirty.

FLIPPINGAWFULCATERINGDEPARTMENT! Food is important, but as always I am a service guy. When service doesn’t pull through, and my customers are sitting there with no food in front of them for 45MINUTES really pisses me off. Wholly smokes I have never in my life worked with a caterer who screws up as much as this Bread Co location does. If it was possible to give them ZERO stars I would. From management down this place is completely unorganized, has awful communication among their staff, and the customer ends up receiving the brunt of it. This terrible restaurant has burned me one too many times. Bread Co, I refuse to give you one cent of my business from here on. Panera, fire the dingbats who run this location, especially the dinkuses who run the catering business. You might have lost a few thousand a month in revenue off of this last screw up.

Not a terrible location but not my favorite either. It gets SLAMMED during lunch, so avoid between noon and 1pm if at all possible. I left at around 1pm one day and it was still busy. Unfortunately this is the closest location to my work place so I am limited by going here. Normally I go to the one off of Zumbehl and it’s a little bit nicer. Kinda bummed that they don’t have the poppyseed strawberry salad anymore. I tried the new cranberry turkey thing and it wasn’t as good as it sounded. Maybe next time I will tell them not to grill it because the spinach was brown and wilted after doing so, ick. Also the bread was mega soggy and too hot to eat. Their baguettes are still pretty good though, and be careful of their cookies. One of them is about 430 calories! You could eat a whole salad for that much. ;)

I hate SLBCs. I go to them when I have a short lunch time frame and my boss is willing to buy my food. This location is always super busy with monotonous looking business people eating their generic SLBC lunches. I too probably look like a monotonous business person eating a beige lunch that is a summer chicken salad with fruit! FRUIT! pieces in it. SLBC gets the job done. Their coffee is actually pretty good and on my ways to work I sometimes skip over Starbucks to get the SLBC stuff. yawn. now, please go away from my suggested next review queue. thanks!

Breakfast — Their breakfast paninis are the best breakfast sandwich in town! In the bakery, I love the plain bagel with plan or — Mmmmm — hazelnut cream cheese, the muffin tops, and the egg souffles. For lunch or dinner, the seasonal Strawberry Poppyseed Salad is amazing for under 300 calories I think. My favorite soups are the Chicken and Wild Rice, Baked Potato, or Broccoli Cheese. I would NOT get the Lemon Chicken Orzo again; it’s not as good as the one at Sweet Tomatoes and tastes more like a chicken noodle with a faint hint of lemon. Finally, I regularly return to the Frontega Chicken hot panini, the Bacon Turkey Bravo, and the Sierra Turkey. If I’m not getting soup, their white mac and cheese is rich and creamy.

This Bread Co at lunch time, is the hardest to find a seat! The tables are usually clean, and I have no complaints about the staff. Bread Co is the best on a cold, rainy day!

On the small size of your typical Panera but all in all, a good location. Friendly service and I was quickly served. In the corner of a strip mall on the South side of Saint Chalres Rock Road(East of 270).
