Better than Mullica HIll, more spacious and laid out better. Mostly friendly staff and there is plenty of parking. Check out the bakery area and don’t forget the beef jerky. Plenty of items to choose from with seating to eat. Clean rest rooms and building. There is a furniture store inside and outside they sell outbuildings. Worth the trip if you are in the area or feel like taking a nice drive to get there.

Enjoyed our visit here. Prices seem reasonable — especially loved the day-old donuts we bought on sale that still tasted fresh.

My girls and I love coning to this market. It is large and spacious which is awesome when you have a double stroller! Usual local Amish market fare, restaurant, meats, baked goods, produce, crafts, and furniture(that I wish I could afford!). The donuts are amazing! The candy store is fun for kids.

I have been coming here since day 1. The food is good but on the high side based on the quality. Nit picking I think the coffee cups are small at the restaurant, I don’t like how when they weigh your hot foods that they use very large pieces of heavy foil which adds to the weight considerably and you pay more than you should. They don’t zero the machine… Where’s Weights and Measures for NJ? On a up note the roasted carrots are great, smoked party wings are fantastic. The bacon covered pork roast is better than the beef. The grillers are phenomenal, blueberry fritters are noteworthy and the rest is tasty. I imagine that all the foods are made for taste and not health conscious. These folks are producing good products and are great for community involvement. I feel they are standoffish but the food makes up for it.

This is the third Amish market in the area. It was the last built. Our family was doing some errands out this way and decided to check out the market. Parking is great compared to the other two. When one approaches, it appears this is a huge place to shop; we were excited. Inside is essentially an oval. Traffic flow appears to be counter-clockwise. Everything here is duplicated at the other markets. It seems, however, not to have as much. For instance, I don’t recall seeing the prepared food with the ribs, chicken, and vegetables here. That is a big selling point to the Vineland location. I had a doughnut. It is just as good as the other. .. overstuffed. Yummy! My wife picked up some vegetables. We also purchased a pretzel and milkshake. All were good. For the size of the building, I felt that there would have been more here. There is nothing bad about the market. Should we be out this way again, we will absolutely shop here.

I love this place! We discovered it a few months ago and try to get back every few weeks. Last time we were here, it was their one year anniversary and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend’s mother and I took the kids and we all had a great time! They had a ton of give aways(I won some free lemonade, which the kids loved), she even won the quilt that was auctioned off(it was gorgeous, I admit, I was jealous! It matches our bedroom set perfectly, lol). The kids got their faces painted, rode a barrel train pulled by a horse, rode a minature pony, a camel and played in a bouncy house. They also had a cool activity called whoopie pie checkers. The girls had such a blast with that one! This weekend they have their Peach Festival and I’m really looking forward to attending.

I would have never known about this gem, had I not been visiting my parents and seen a commercial for it on TV. A sucker for farmers’ markets(and a fan of the few Amish markets I’ve visited in the past), I immediately Googled it and knew I had to stop by. And so, this afternoon, I went in with the intention of just grabbing a bite to eat and meeting up with a long-lost friend. I left with my weight in grocery bags and hot food for tonight’s dinner. The market is very easy to find and is a very easy drive down Route 49. The parking lot is huge and the space, though not huge, is utilized very well to accommodate all the vendors. Business was steady but never overcrowded. There really is a bit of everything in this market: pizza, baked goods, fresh Jersey produce, pretzels, seafood, bulk candy, homemade jams/pickled goods/nut butters, deli salads, dairy, meats, sausages, hot foods, handicrafts, and always-sturdy, reliable hand-carved wooden Amish furniture. The sit-down restaurant at the front serves all-day breakfast on Saturdays, in addition to burgers and dinner platters(i.e., pork and sauerkraut). We got breakfast platters with crispy, thin-sliced potato rounds; a big slab of scrapple(if you don’t know what it is, don’t look at the ingredient list but eat it and love it); eggs; and toast, which I promptly slathered with the homemade peanut butter spread and also the homemade strawberry jam at the table. The butcher and deli counters were the busiest, with people lined up to buy ham hocks, pork chops, top round steaks, chicken, smoked sausages, farmers’ cheeses, applewood bacon, and more. Lebanon and sweet bologna(a PA Dutch thing) were readily available. The candy/bulk section had everything: loose candy(Mary Janes, Dubble Bubble, etc), homemade kettle chips, spices, flours, and even huge tubes of fruit pie filling. The bakery had an excellent variety of savory and sweet loaf breads(bacon, egg, and cheese bread, anyone?!), apple dumplings, whoopie pies and regular pies/slices of all kinds. There was a nice variety of produce, from standard carrots and lettuces to fennel and broad beans. At the poultry stand, fresh turkey was available, as were prepared rotisserie chickens/ducks/cornish hens, racks of ribs, and smoked turkey legs. For $ 17, I got a flavorful chicken, creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, baked lima beans studded with huge chunks of pork, and mac-n-cheese. The mac was my least favorite and tasted of fake cheese. The potatoes, gravy, and chicken were great. I really liked the baked beans — I liked the idea of using lima beans — but my parents thought the beans were undercooked and a bit too al dente for their tastes. Outside, the kids can play on the custom-made swing sets and adults can buy sheds, playgrounds, and storage units. Of course, all the Amish market employees were super friendly and accommodating. Prices are more than reasonable at all the stands and it’s even easier to spend the money when you know you’re supporting small businesses and families. I rarely come to South Jersey, but from now on, when I do, I will make time to stop at this market.
