It’s not the cleanest or best organized when you walk in, but they have tons of great clothes for very very cheap! If you need toddler clothing, they have plenty to choose from! I go there often for dress pants and dress shirts. I only pay $ 3 – 5 for each. You typically pay $ 1 – 2 for toddler clothing.

It’s not a bad Thrift Store… it looks like it’s falling apart from the outside as it is from the inside. The inside is really messy, there’s stuff all over the ground. There’s less furniture items here but a ton of truck radios. People that work here don’t really speak english. My last time here, there was someone walking a dog in the store that nobody really cared about then there was someone walking around barefoot. So it’s safe to say this thrift store has very low standards.

Love this shop wouldn’t thrift anywhere else. Great prices. But you have to dog for things. Don’t expect to get help from associates, it’s more of a do it yourself shoping experience which I love. Also no changing rooms but $.60 a t shirt. It doesn’t really matter.

I’m a huge thrifter, have been my whole life. I’ve been coming here for years, although it is not my favorite thrift store to go to, just convenient. Lately it has been messier and messier– tons of things carelessly strewn on the floor with no one around to help in the clean up efforts. Some times the store attracts some seedy characters, just keep your eye on your personal belongings! Parking there isn’t great– there are enough spaces but the lot is in rough shape, so take it slow driving back there. Prices vary– they definitely jack up the price if they think they have something good. Coats seem to run from 8 – 20 these days, for example. Shoes from 3 – 15. Keep an eye out for the half price colors though, that helps!

Thrifting is not for those in need of cleanliness, or those looking for a quick trip: you gotta be prepared to dig, and do a few loads of laundry after you get home. This shop is no exception. It’s far messier and dirtier than your Goodwill’s or Savers’, and in fact, more than most Salvation Army’s I’ve ever been to. Parking is limited in the front, so be prepared to walk around to the back lot. I’ve been here twice and I’ve been disappointed with the shoe & purse selection — they are very limited. That being said, everything is color coded pretty efficiently and for the most part, priced pretty well. I’m a little partial to this place… I found a silk Chanel blouse at my first trip for $ 4. I have yet to determine the age or exact amount, but likely somewhere in the $ 200+ worth :)

Even with all the shifting you are bound to find a gem! I found two cute dresses and a basically new denim jacket. Staff is friendly too.

I love this place. They ALWAYS have what I’m looking for. It’s awesome. I’m a plus size girl and extremely picky about my clothes and tsk, this is the place.

Big and pretty organized. They have lots of items. Clothes, toys, furniture and appliances. Prices seem a bit high though.

No, cleanliness is not next to godliness in the Salvation Army thrift stores. I believe that the must smell is mold, so if you are allergic, you may want to pass on this store. However the store is large to medium in size and I have found some bargains here. But I do have to say something very nice about the staff here. As you may or may not know, SA stores are havens for pick pockets and purse snatchers. Most stores have signs begging you to watch your belongings carefully — and I would seriously heed that warning. I always thought that I was careful, but my purse was snatched a couple of weeks ago. The police officer told me that more reports of robberies from that one store than from all of the rest of Bridgeview combined. But the staff could not have been any nicer. One lady who works there let me use her personal phone to get help, as my phone was in my purse. And the manger actually went through credit card receipts with me to see if someone had used my card there. They were absolutely great to me. Even now, when I go in, they ask if I ever heard anything and express sympathy — which I really appreciate. So the bottom line is this: the store is worth a look(if you are not allergic to mold). This is probably not a store that you would want to go to every week(sometimes I see the exact same items stocked if I visit in consecutive weeks), but you may want to check it out once a month to a couple of times a year if it is convenient for you. And the staff is just fine — until something happens when they shift into great mode. But please, watch your personal items. Be very wary of people that seem to be following you around, looking at everything you are looking at when you are looking at it. Learn to be suspicious. If I had been more so, I would still have my LV bag!

This thrift store is not one of the best I’ve ever been to. It’s very large, but that’s about it. I bought a very comfortable chair here that still sees service, though on a second owner. You’ll find lots of coats here, nearly four racks worth, so if it’s coats, this is your store. Oh and ties as well. They usually have a vast assortment of ties here for some reason. But what it comes down to for me is the price. The chair that I alluded to, very comfortable and in good shape(the seat cover needed three washes before anything) but came at a steep price– 62 bucks. The people at the register are nice; I say that since I haggled with them down from 70 by simply opening my wallet and showing them that all I had was 62 bucks… plus the chair was in the store for more than a month. They have lots of shoes and brickabak, which is my favorite. I found ‘vintage’ golf clubs there on sale for 50 cents.

I understand it’s a thrift shop, and cleanliness may not be top priority. But this store just smells pretty funny. Very musty, like a basement that has not been aired out in a couple of years. But I do have to admit, this place is huge, with a big selection o’ crap to choose from. Lots of furniture and old(I mean old) computers and accessories(can we say Commodore 64?) But it’s just really disorganized. For some reason, this location must get donations from the under size medium crowd, because most of the women’s clothes are in little sizes.
