Sno Daze Tropical Sno

Love this Tropical Sno location! I want Tropical Sno (aka TSno) right now, but alas, I live 100 miles away. But whenever I’m home during the summer months, you KNOW I’m making a TSnow stop. My previous TSno go to was a shack off the side of the road overrun with 16 year olds. This location is a clean indoor shop inside of a strip mall. It doesn’t usually get too busy and it’s not so inundated with adolescents. There are so many possible flavor combinations that it could make your head spin. However, don’t let that happen. It’s summer and you’re here to chill. Just go with one that catches your eye and enjoy.

Anyways, I have been coming here since it opened. The location is decent. If your with anyone to hang out during the summertime in Bridgeview, choose Tropical Sno!
There is different staff when I am here, but the service is great! The staff make the orders for me top notch. Well, that’s one reason why I always come here.
I have seen some minor changes during the time period when Tropical Sno closes for the winter. One change is the MONSTER size which is 44 ounces! That’s one crazy size!
The area where you order is a bit small. It reminds me of a small drive-​in. It’s enough for paying and going outside and eating on benches. There is also some signs on the wall just for a small laugh. Also, there is a flavor of the day and some other unique flavors.
The sno-​cones are made to perfection. The ice is smooth, not like the ice in carnival sno-​cones. I can tell the flavor is full of fruit. The taste is paradise. It’s like you on a beach in Miami with a butler who made great food.
All in all, this place is my favorite sno-​cone shop I ever went to. I will be going back to this location.

Really good shave ice and other snacks like beverages, ice cream, and nachos. Wish there were napkins and more tables out front but overall a good summer treat to sit and enjoy. I would gladly consume these snow cups in the winter but they’re not open for business year-​round. I think they could stand to shave a good $ 0.50 off their prices for each item.

Great clean place. Better then the one on Ridgeland. This place is located right behind Haunted Trails but I would go a little further down 79^th past Harlem and turn in through the entrance to the strip mall on the North side of 79^th. The workers here are very friendly and do a great job.
3 things I like about this place is
1. They have a huge list of concoctions. (which makes it very difficult to decide what to get … in a good way)
2. They have a punch card buy 9 get one free.
3. Also they have spoons that change color!

I’ve been to this location several times and I have never had a bad experience. They have the best shaved ice in the area. Great variety of flavor choices. Fresh, clean and the people are so nice and helpful. I brought in a group of girls with many ideas of what they wanted and the guy behind the counter was sooooo patient and got everything right. So this place is a keeper in my book!!! And I love the color changing spoons. So cool
