I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Aldi and this is the best in the area, it’s a bit bigger than the one in Robinson and easier to get in and out of. Very clean and organized. I purchase primarily produce(for me and the guinea pig – he eats a lot) and meat/fish and Aldi always has wonderful produce that tastes great, seriously Avocados regularly under $ 1 when Market District is selling them for $ 3. If produce is ripe they greatly discount it, they one time had bananas that needed to be used within a day and had them marked down to 10 cents a pound… I bought about 12 pounds and cut them up and froze them for smoothies. Their frozen shrimp/seafood as well as their meat is a good price and I’ve been happy with the quality. When I do buy processed foods everything has been comparable to name brands, some things are a little off but you live and learn. If you’re looking to stretch your food budget, this is the place to go. Very fast checkout process and the carts are in great shape since everyone wants their quarter back so they aren’t left drifting in the lot. I like bagging my own groceries because then I can guarantee canned goods aren’t going to be on top of a loaf of bread and I can pack the bags as full as I’d like rather than being handed a bag with one or two items in it.

I’m not going to go through the whole practice of «no bag» ‚“no cart without quarter” or the«no credit card» since this is pretty standard for every Aldi Stores. Although I don’t live close by, I mostly go here during my lunch break from work to quickly shop for groceries mainly fresh produce. As of now, the surrounding areas are still under construction but getting in and out the Aldi parking lot isn’t much of an issue. The store itself is not too big but I think it carries pretty much everything and more that you’d want from a grocery store. I love to check out those tools and home electronics that are on sale for far less than you’d get from Amazon or other retail store. As for other products — they mostly carry their own brand which are always cheaper than generic brands sold in other major grocery stores. And the quality has always been good if not better. Besides, they do have a good selection of organic and gluten free products priced just a tad higher than the regular products. So, if you live close by or mostly shop at Trader Joes — then give this Aldi store a shot after all they belong to the same family :)

This is an actual review of Aldi, not a complaint about what’s not there anymore. This Aldi is bigger than most, well stocked, and clean. Yes, you have to pay a quarter to get a buggy, which you get back when you return said buggy. If your ass is too lazy to return the buggy, you don’t have to, but you’re out a quarter. It’s another of the ways they keep costs down here, along with not taking credit cards, selling bags,(bring your own, the earth is dying), no advertisements, except for a local circular, and word-of– mouth(they are awesome!). Aldi sells mostly their own brand of products, which are inexpensive and for the most part very good! But, if you don’t like the product you buy, they will replace the product and refund your money! Great way to save money and try new things. They also pay their employees a living wage so for the most part they are friendly and helpful. Try the blueberry muffins, frozen raw Chicken Parmesan, and salad dressings. If you are on a budget, this place can really be a money saver!

I have no issue with the no left turn between 4 – 6 for now. Just go up one light no big deal. I’m sure they will change that once the add additional lane to the bridge. Paying for your cart I agree it keeps cost down. The person that complained must be someone who leaves cart where it lands. What I was shocked by was how SMALL the store was!!! Really. It’s a good thing it not my regular shopping store as I don’t buy all the processed food. Seams to be a theme chemicals in the food. I fist go there for fresh produce so I can can it myself. I will continue to go there for fresh food!

They closed two large bottom dollars and built a cramped new supermarket that you can’t even make a left turn to get to in the evening. You need a quarter to take a shopping cart. No credit cards, only debit or cash. Bring back Bottom Dollar.
