One of the best takeout places around. Ordered a Greek salad that was insanely good. It was not a typical Greek salad with iceberg lettuce, a hard tomato wedge, and feta; it was mixed greens, peapods, radishes, peppers, olives, feta, croutons, and more. It was OUTSTANDING. The Greek dressing was also fantastic. I also ordered an Italian coldcut sub that was terrific. The service is outstanding — the counter guys are helpful and courteous and even FRIENDLY! When was the last time a counter person was anything more than marginally civil? This place is my new go-to place for subs and salads.

If you are looking for friendly staff to serve you excellent food in a pizza parlour, look no further. Greek salad was fresh complimented with original toppings radish sugar snap peas excellent feta, yellow, orange peppers baby tomatoes mixed healthy greens with a great salad dressing that was home made. My son had an Italian sub that was very tasty, they add mortadella too a rare find in cheaper sub shops. The pizza was fantastic, crust and bread were perfect close to crust found in Italy, not over the top with tomato with a high quality cheese mix with hints of Asiago. Highly recommend this joint!

Steak tip salad is really really good. Not just a boring salad with iceberg lettuce but rather mixed greens with fresh veggies. The steak tips are great and their house dressing is the way to go! Pizza is pretty good too but only had it once.

This review is for the sandwiches. I love them. I grew up in Bridgewater and now live on the west coast. I’m in town visiting my dad and I wanted to try something new that wasn’t a chain. I got a meatball sub that was very tasty. A good size(9 inch). Very fresh and not too salty. I was so pleased with it that I returned at dinner with my sister and got a chicken sandwich that was also good. Last, I really liked how the manager thanked me for my business. It’s a nice gesture that you never hear at a chain.

Best pizza in Bridgewater! The competition has declined with new ownership. Love the bubbly crisp crust. Had numerous of their pizza’s and the crust is great, the cheese delicious and the toppings are delicious. My favorite is the steak bomb. Unique way they handle the crust; it’s bubbly and flaky with corn meal and I believe it’s basil on the outer crust. Tonight we had the ziti and meatball; delicious sauce and the meatballs are almost as good as mine. Salads made with quality ingredients, garlic bread awesome. On site dining atmosphere is only ok. Parking is sparse. The excellent food makes Bruno’s a winner! If they keep it up they will expand, the wait times will decline(especially once they get another pizza oven.) 5 stars for food, 4 stars for parking, atmosphere.

As someone else has stated, any poor reviews have come from previous management. The food is top notch. Pizza is out of this world, from the dough, to the toppings. Service is amazing! The owner, himself, has even delivered food… when the drivers either weren’t available, or not there. I’d give this place 6+stars, but you only allow me to give 5. About to order now, in fact.

ANYBADREVIEWS simply MUST be from visits prior to new ownership. I work nearby and have ordered probably a third of their large menu now. It’s NOTJUSTPIZZA people! As many folks have already posted, the salads are to die for. The house dressing is … well there aren’t words. Something clearly made of magic it’s so delicious. And the veggies??? Super crisp! Né’er have I experienced a less than perfect quality veggie on my salads from here. The greek is my favorite. It has LOADS of quality ingredients, not just kalamatas and feta. It comes with a healthy helping of feta, crisp cucumber, sweet yellow and red bell pepper, thinly sliced radish, mixed greens(not iceberg thank god!), snappy snow peas and the most perfect cherry/grape tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. I desperately want to know who their vendor is and beg them to supply my local grocery store. I know this is long. but I can not express enough, if you haven’t tried some of the items other than their fresh and amazing pizza. you are missing out! And they deliver! A big plus for me since I can rarely sneak away from work long enough to go sit someplace. Ok, some favorites: The Bruno wrap — it’s advertised as a fried chicken/honey mustard deal — but the honey mustard… well, you can’t even tell it’s mustard. Just a golden, light an yummy sweet sauce that balances the salt of the bacon and fried chicken. I get a side of house dressing for dipping. I know. That’s naughty, but it’s well worth the extra workout. The ‘smothered cow’ is a delicious steak and cheese sub. I get it done up southie style with pickle and tomato… this thing is the freshest tasting beefy goodness I’ve had in a number of years. The turkey gobbler I just ordered today. I was ‘iffy’ about it. I’ve had this style sandwich at other sub places(the D-word) and it was OK. I made the choice strictly from indecision and: WOW!!! Holy smackers. I actually emailed the restaurant(something I never ever do) and told them it was the best sandwich wrap in the history of sandwich wraps. Honest. The turkey was SO moist, and tasted like it was just carved off the bird. The stuffing had great texture. Not dry and lumpy or soggy and smooshy. And the BEST part? Something I suspect is homemade cranberry sauce. I can’t say for sure, but even if it isn’t — whoever they get it from sure knows how to make it! You know how cranberry sauce if done improperly can have a slightly bitter note? Not here. It tastes like there are hints of cinnamon in the sauce, subtle enough to just tie the whole thing together. I had initially purchased it to take home for supper, but it was so good it didn’t last past lunch. I have shamelessly plugged this restaurant to many coworkers based on the exceptional food and service(they had no delivery driver one day so WALKED my order in tons of snow… yes I would have cancelled it had I known) and they are now hooked as well. Give them a whirl. I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed. UPDATE: I just read more of the other reviews here and see a few one stars based on wait times or no service? It is a reasonable wait. But I know how long it will take them because they are hand-cutting and dipping chicken, slicing fresh veggies, hand stretching pizzas. Since I already know this is how I get the crispy crunch I love on my vegetables and the tender meats, I do one thing… I call early! It’s not hard to do. I come to work, I’m pretty sure what time I’ll be eating lunch, so I call it in about 45 minutes before I want it. Simple. And worth it… even if it took them two hours… I’d have no problem placing the call at 10 for a noon lunch. Not for food this fresh. So factor that part ahead of time — and I think you’ll agree how great the place is.

I’m a little obsessed. It’s true. It started simply. the rumor that their salads had radishes on them. Radishes! On a salad! At a place that does delivery! In Bridgewater! What is this beautiful oasis? Is it real? So, okay. I order out a lot. I work nearby, and I have all of the local joints numbers memorized– and, to be honest, Bruno’s switched owners a few times over the last few years so when it changed hands again, my hopes weren’t very high… but pretty quickly they proved themselves to be completely different from their predecessors. The salads are what brought me in– and they are really very good, they have mixed greens, RADISHES, various other vegetables and are by no means your typical iceburg lettuce bowl of cold sadness. Their house dressing– a creamy Greek– is really great, and is for-real made in house. I’ve ordered pizzas– okay, mostly weird pizzas, because my go-to involves olives, pickles, feta and a lot of salt, but I’ve ordered it and it’s just as my heart would desire. My boyfriend has more normal tastes, and really likes their buffalo wrap, and their steak and cheese wrap is ‘one of the best around’. I believe him. :) They also have a wrap called the ‘Aphrodite’ which has chicken and feta and things in it, and that’s SUPER good too. I clearly order from them. frequently, which brings me to another point: everyone is also really great on the phone. There’s no weird fumbling for address, phone number, card number, everyone who answers the phone is on point, food arrives within 45 minutes(typically 25 – 30 but I don’t pay much attention) and is lovely. Also, the wraps don’t explode all over you as you eat them. A key detail, don’t overlook it. The restaurant does have tables– it’s worth going and sitting down! I usually don’t, as I’m at work and can’t escape, but it’s nice to get over there. :)

I will admit, I was pretty hesitant after the first time I did business here years ago while I was still living on campus. The food made me sick. So when I was told there was new management and different crew, I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. The pizza is delicious. Cheese pizza can be screwed up. But here, I eat it all. I don’t usually eat my crust. I will devour Bruno’s crust. The sauce doesn’t give me epic heartburn either. And omg the subs. Amazing. The owner is the sweetest guy too. He’s brought out my sub a few times and asked how I liked it while I’m shoving it down my gullet. It’s delish. The aphrodite is so good. I get the large thinking I’ll share it with my boyfriend later… he never gets a piece haha. Great staff. Friendly environment. Decent prices. Overall A+ establishment. I wish I wasn’t so far away now but I still make sure to get something to eat from there whenever I’m visiting friends on campus.

Best pizza south of Boston. I’ve also had their subs & they were great! Service is the best around… I won’t go elsewhere for pizza or subs!

We ordered here last night and we are already ordering again(we are mid-move, nothing in the fridge!). First of all– both times I have called and ordered– I have spoken with some of the MOST polite human beings ever. Seriously. For this alone I would consider calling again. The food was amazing for take out/delivery. Salad is fancier than most take out places — their home made Greek dressing is TODIEFOR. I also ordered the chicken, broccoli, Alfredo which came with seriously deeelish garlic bread and was enough to feed my husband and I. We just moved to BWater and I have already found my go-to take out place!

I love Brunos! The delivery guys are so friendly and my food is always delicious. Salads are fresh… not bagged wilt lettuce like most pizza joints. I could bathe in their Greek dressing… so good! Brunos is our go to for delivery.

My husband and I recently moved to Bridgewater in June. A couple weeks ago August 13th or 14th we decided we were in a pizza mood and we would try our first pizza here in Bridgewater. We heard good things about Bruno’s from Facebook so we decided to try it and let me tell you I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a large Bruno’s Pizza and some garlic bread with cheese. When I got home and ate the pizza was soggy! I love a pizza thats nice and crunchy unfortunately this pizza was the exact opposite. And the garlic with cheese bread had very little cheese and a whole lot of garlic. I definitely had better. I’m glad I had a coupon for my order so I was able to save some extra $$ because this meal was definitely not the best and it would have been expensive otherwise especially since I’m a poor college student and getting pizza or going out to dinner is a really rare thing for me. Not sure if I would spend money to try this place again or not. One thing I forgot to mention is the customer service. When I got there I had trouble validating my coupon and they were very understanding and trusting in me to validate it from home when I was able to connect to the internet. +1 additional star. Also from the response I got I can tell that they really value their customers and aim to satisfy.

I hate a place that takes the phone off the hook when it gets busy. I’ve been getting a busy signal for almost a whole hour now. The one salad i’ve had was very good. Hopefully i’ll be able to try another, if they put the GD phone back on the hook. WTF! Update: I went to get a salad with my girlfriend and was told that they weren’t taking ANY orders because they were so busy. An older man behind the counter then began to verbally assault my girlfriend and me. He was very busy and took his frustration out on us. I informed him that he should hire more staff instead of losing business and he snapped. He cursed and shouted at us while he followed us to my truck. The next thing I know we’re surrounded by 3 police cruisers at Roche Bros. Turns out this guy also called the police for absolutely no reason. He made my girlfriend very upset. All of my family is from Bridgewater and we all make it a point to tell as many people as possible about this man unprofessional and outright rediculous behavior. He should NOT be in the service industry.

What a great place, and a great bunch of people. I recently moved to the area, and this is my go-to spot. The food is very good, and delivered quickly. Not only that, but this place has a habit of adding an extra thing or two(be it garlic bread, or the new apple turn-overs they were trying out). Give this place a shot. They really care about their customers.

My husband and I have ordered from here a few times. All of their employees are so friendly. The food is extremely fresh, you know they take pride in what they put on a plate. In a town that is filled mediocre pizza shops Bruno’s definitely stands above the rest!

Figured I’d try to find a pizza place around my new house, Bruno’s will not be this spot. Crust is underwhelming but thin if you like thin. The biggest problem is the sauce. It was very sweet. I don’t like sweet sauce on pizza. It is a delicate balance with tomato sauce on pizza but, when done right, can be a home run. Plus there just wasn’t enough cheese. If I’d known, I’d have asked for extra cheese but it was too late. I had a salad here about a month ago and it was better than the pizza. I cannot speak to anything else but I won’t be back. Guess I’ll just keep looking for that elusive go-to pizza joint.

Great pizza place. I had pizza on Friday. They have a big menu. No matter what you order it will be great. I will be bringing my son there for lunch soon. I know he will enjoy it. I cannot believe that jays flying pizza got better reviews than Bruno’s pizza. Bruno’s is so much tastier.

Just tried Bruno’s after seeing rave reviews on my local Facebook group. I was not steered wrong! At 8pm on a Saturday, especially if you just walked in, it’s expected for a pizza place to be on the slow side. Yet all the staff were pleasant and apologetic for the length of our wait. It wasn’t really that long to be honest. The list of specialty pizzas isn’t extensive, but has a good variety, including options that I’ve never seen before. For safety, we ordered the Steak Bomb. It was absolutely delicious with a nice crust and sweet tomato sauce. I personally prefer my steak pizzas without tomato sauce, but if I have to have a tomato sauce, this is a good one. We also got an order of onion rings, which honestly, I use to judge whether I’ll return someplace. These were small and crisp, although very salty and oily. Not a deal breaker, but they could use some work.

This place is just okay. Not great, not awful. I got the sandwich named after the owner, and it was alright but the chicken was burnt and I felt pretty sick after I ate it. My girlfriend got pizza and said the same. I love the décor, as it looks like an Italian terrace — but it doesn’t quite make up for the quality.
