Food is mediocre at best and the service often is terrible. Good for 99 cent pizza and a cold beer, but thats about it

Emma’s has been a staple round here for years, we tried on Saturday night, place was a little quiet on the bar side, i think the restaurant was busy though. Decent selection of beer and of course they are famous for their pizza, after saying that we got steak tips! I got mixed grill, steak tips, BBQ chicken and small portion of ribs served with fries and slaw. Chicken and ribs were a little on the dry side, although the steak tips were very good. Emma’s is just down the road from us so i’ll be back and trying more things, Sunday afternoons i hear they have cheese pizza’s for 89 cents. 89 cents!!! now that’s a deal

Been stopping in to Emmas now and then for a while. Never had an issue with service and the value is unbeatable. Pizza’s great and teriyaki steak tips are delicious! Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that sometimes the fried steak and cheese eggrolls and potato skins are a little overdone. Love the daily specials!

First timer. It ought to be renamed: The Ipecac Inn. The food is lousy, and the service is worse. Sat and waited 40 minutes for sandwiches. Every other table around us, which seated after we arrived, was served first. The waitress argued that there was nothing unusual about this. The sandwich I had was primarily lettuce, and the cold baked beans were out of a can. The steak tips were burnt. No one checked on us until just before the check was presented. Last timer.

So if you live in Ma and watch Phantom Gormet or watch local tv channels you must have seen adds for this place. Crazy prices crazy servings of food. Family spotts bar? Yup. My bacon burger was so big it really needed a 2nd bun. Friendly and attentive staff. Oh and yeah Crazy Ron was there when I stopped by for lunch again. And he took a selfie with me.

Was there Saturday to enjoy the game, good food and of course keno. Ron Emma was there: he was drunk and just plain horrible to the bar staff. He belittled them, made awful remarks about their service and was just a down right ass. Mr Emma, we come because of your staff: they are your backbone and you sir should be ashamed of yourself. You were nothing more than a drunk bully and we all witnessed it.

It’s greasy, it’s greasy, it’s greasy and it’s really just a lot of frozen foods that’s recooked or deep fried. The only decent thing is probably their pizza.

Great pizza and wings. Good variety on menu. You can eat in larger bar area or dining room.

Abner had the Titanic Lobster Sandwich and I got the Jalapeño Quesadilla burger. Everything was very good. We will go back.

I have been here multiple times! The food is typical pub food, and the service is usually great. I had the chicken bonanza and holy food! Large portions and cheap prices. I only wish that they had a better drink selection. I will be back and recommend this place to others.

This place is sooo grimy, but I’ll give it two stars for the value. Monday nights are ½ price pizza. For $ 22 my husband and I ate a pizza and wings and had two sodas. Not a bad deal at all. The food tasted decent for what it is… greasy pizza and wings… you can’t really mess it up. I’ve never felt dirtier at a restaurant though, which may keep me from going back. The floor needed a sweep desperately, tables felt like they could use a good scrub. Service was fine, nothing to write home about but not terrible either. It just felt gross in there. Yick…

I dunno how this place has only 2 stars! It’s a pizza and pub place?!? Not Mortons Steak House?!? It has it all… Lots of TVs, huge bar area, cheap pizza, and Keno! The food was delicious too… I got a chicken wrap with rice, I ate every bite! I know I’m over weight but seriously if you go in there expecting bar food… Your in for a treat! The bar food is awesome and very cheap! For a pub, it’s a 5 star!

Very good food at a fair price. The seafood is the best around. Waitstaff is fast, I accurate, and very friendly. Décor could use a little updating, but that is part of the charm of the place.

Went to Emma’s for the first time last night. Made the mistake of not checking Unilocal reviews first. First impression of the restaurant was that it’s too busy, way too many specials, too many signs & the menu is overwhelming. The floors were dirty & the booth we sat in was horribly uncomfortable obviously in need of replacement. The food just ok including the pizza, I think the owner should just concentrate on the pizza he’s famous for and forget about the rest. If Kitchen Nightmares visited this restaurant Gordon Ramsey would rip the owner a new one.

Saw the commercial on phantom gourmet many times figured let’s try it out. My family ordered chicken quesadillas, crispy not bad, comes with a side of salsa and sour cream. We ordered a large half mushroom, half meatball pizza. Pizza was just ok nothing special. They have alot of weekly specials for cheap but today was a Saturday which was buy one app get a second half off 8 – 10, we got there at 5 so didn’t apply to us.

Bridgewater doesn’t have a ton of great food options so I ended up here when I wanted to meet up with some friends in the area. The food isn’t great, the prices are fine, the staff is fine, overall this place is just super mediocre. I wouldn’t make a habit out of visiting Emma’s. If they could improve the food a little bit and maybe try to improve the beer options, this place could be a lot better. Parking is also really tricky. The only real pro is that the staff is nice and they give you free popcorn…

I appreciate the offer by Emma’s to attempt to rectify my poor experience at their establishment. I have to add that this was not my 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time there. Also I had written the place off because of similar previous experiences. But unfortunately I had agreed to meet someone there who is a «regular». I’ll most definitely continue to support other establishments like Harry’s in Middleboro or Barrett’s Alehouse in Bridgewater both of which I’ve had nothing but good experiences at. Thank you for your offer, but I will respectively decline.

my boyfriend and i ate here for the first time on a friday night. he’s from the area and, upon my request for bar food, he determined emma’s would hit the spot. the food and experience were largely good, with just a few low points. the good stuff: friendly, accommodating service. our waitress was very prompt and remembered all of our requests with no issue. she happened to be training a new waitress, which is always a good sign– they only put you with someone good if you’re new. we started off with a double order of wings. i like that you can choose two wing flavors(even if you only get a single order). we chose classic buffalo as well as teriyaki. the wings themselves were cooked well– big and juicy, they definitely satisfied my craving. the buffalo sauce was flavorful, and i would put the heat level in the«mild» category. the teriyaki was okay, but tasted over-reduced, and a little too salty. i was happy with just one. my boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. served in the classic south shore style size, it would be perfect for one person with leftovers, or two people to share. i hadn’t really planned on eating any, but ended up eating a slice to myself, it was so good. there were big chunks of chicken, and the slow, subtle burn of the buffalo sauce was perfect. i also liked this pizza because the bottom and edges of the crust were just a touch crisp. my meal was less successful. i ordered the chicken caesar wrap which came with fries. i added small sides of cole slaw, and onion rings. i’m picky about my fried foods because, if i’m going to spend the calories, the food better be satisfying and just right. the fries were disappointing. they were hot, but flaccid. i only ate one or two. i prefer shoe-string or very thin cut onion rings, and these delivered in all areas. they were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked to a crisp golden brown. the cole slaw was good, and the dressing was somewhere between creamy and vinegary. the wrap, however, was clunky and not well executed. first, when i think of a chicken caesar wrap i am expecting chicken, romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and ceasar dressing. i don’t necessarily expect croutons, though some places will add those, too. well– this was just chicken, romaine, and dressing– no cheese… really? also, the chicken wasn’t cut evenly or all the way through, so it was tough to eat; the poor execution of actually wrapping the wrap itself didn’t help. overall, we would certainly come back, but i would choose to order a few other items. at about 8:30 on a friday night the place was packed, so do plan ahead. we had wanted to sit at the bar, but ended up in the dining room.
