I have been taking classes here on and off for years, and am finally a once a week regular now the past 2 years. I love the simple, no frills, family friendly style here. I was fortunate enough to start yoga with BKS Iyengar in Poona(before Iyengar yoga became famous) and the simplicity and rigor are similar here — well perhaps toned down on the rigor, there are no weird poses, no hard core persuasion and no power yoga or yoga aerobics or funny stuff. The 75 minute class works best for me — a combination of warm up, stretches, breathing exercise, and a sequence of poses — seated, standing, surya namaskars, abdominal & inversion, followed by more breathing exercises and relaxation. You can sign up for one class, or a package — my wife and I like to sign up the 50 class family package, & our son joins us once in a while. It is family run — both husband & wife teach here, & they also train teachers, and some of their trained teachers teach here as well.
