HIM Mechanical Systems

We inherited a massive 1985 Steel case Traulsen refrigerator, when we bought our house. The size, and the solidity of the construction of the case have been wonderful, but finding a maintenance company has been really difficult. At one point we were looking at replacing it, but found the kitchen had been built around it, and we would need to either have it dismantled with a blow torch or open up a hole in the side of our house to remove it!
Because we are homeowners, not restaurant owners, it’s been difficult to get anyone out to service it. I have had several forays with companies who didn’t understand it, or replaced most of the parts, but didn’t end up solving the essential problem.
H I M has been a lifesaver. Traulsen gave me a list of companies who could service it, and they were the only ones who have been willing and able to do the work. In particular I want to thank Ron,
who is smart, professional, personable and very capable.
