Purchased a Groupon and place was closed down… Why offer a Groupon if you are not even open for business [at all]. On the up side, Groupon refunded(offered Groupon bucks within 8 hours of my contact! Instead, go to Splash at the other end of the mall. I ended up going there without knowing anything about them and had Ann Marie and she is awesome!

Beware! Waste of time and money $$$. When you leave your hair will be fried, ugly, short, and ruined. $ 250 Dollars I spent for them to ruin my hair and about 6 hours wasted total. Do not get highlights and lowlights here. That means salt & pepper(grey and black hair). I called unhappy a day later and spoke with Jen the manager, who said to come back and they would have an experienced girl fix it. When I came back I was treated like a piece of trash and my hair was furthermore damaged. I should have just told them I want my money back and went somewhere else. So upset and humiliated with my hair. FYI… Susan did my hair first, then Ashely«fixed it» … My hair is so fried I’d post a pic but it’s humiliating!

Today I decided to get a haircut at a new salon and I had a very good experience. Not many can say tha when they are trying a new place for the. First Time. This was the second I have ever had my hair cut by a male. Sharif was totally awesome. He had a great personality and listened to what I wanted. I always go with some type of pixie cut and he was definitely on point with what I wanted. Thanks again Sharif I will definitely be back

I found this salon at groupon and figured I will give it a try. But little did I know that I was signing up for the worst customer service a salon could offer. Susan who cut my hair had no patience, manners, nor the talent to cut anyone’s hair. I felt obligated to write this to save others

I was dissapointed to hear Jaclyn constantino was no longer working there when I called last week to make an appointment. But luckily she is now working at the gatsby salon and I would not go anywhere else but her for a men’s haircut. She does a great job every time not sure why this salon can’t keep good stylist.

I was satisfied with my experience having scheduled a last-minute service for a wedding. I had an up-do done by Rose. She did a great job: worked quickly and made my hair look exactly like the picture I showed her. Staff was not overly friendly or welcoming and facility was ok in cleanliness.

I had this as 2STARS then went back to change it to 1. That’s just how bad of a stylist this girl was. I’d recommend you try Splash Salon if you have to get a haircut in the mall. This place is a step below and so are the stylist. They don’t do a very good job listening to what you want done because I think they don’t know how. Oh well, good thing hair grows:)

In all fairness I would like to add I would give the salon 3.5 stars. I recently had my hair highlighted and cut at the salon by Jesse. It was my first time visiting the salon and I found a deal on Groupon so I figured I would give it a try. I was a little skeptical at first because my stylist was running late and I had to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. If I had somewhere to be afterwards I would have been upset because it would have ruined my plans. I did not have any plans though so Idogs my best not to be annoyed by the very long wait. If I had only received a cut I would have given a 4 star review but the highlights decreased the score. I received a partial highlight but it was extremely skimpy on the foils. The partial highlight that I received at the salon probably only covered 50% of the area of my head that a normal partial highlight covers. They were also not left on quite as long as they should have been so the ones that were done last came out brassy and darker. I am pretty sure that the stylist was in a rush to finish because she was running so late and I was the last appointment for the night. Where my experience was lacking in regards to the highlights, the haircut made up for it. I went in with very long hair, halfway down my back, and had her cut in long layers and a face frame to blend in my bangs that I decided to grow out. She did an amazing job and I have received non-stop compliments on my hair cut.

I started getting my haircut here by Sue Austin and I have to say I love it everytime. I like getting that extra treatment when they wash my hair. The products that she recommended and that I bought worked great. She is amazing at what she does and she takes great pride in what she does as well. I have recommended Sue to numerous friends and family members and they were all dazzled as well. What surprises me the most is how well she remembered previous conversations and how I like my hair done. I heard she is no longer working at the salon and is now at «Hair Port Salon» in Trenton at the Whitehorse Circle. I will most definitely be following her and I’m sure all of her clients will be as well. The 5 stars is for Sue and her work, not the salon.

This place is so disorganized! The receptionist isn’t the sharpest knife in the sink. I made an apt over the phone and there was one availability for the day. When I showed up there were two stylists working and the receptionist couldn’t remember which stylist she booked me with so she made me wait for a half hour as my stylist was on the phone. Come on really? Get your act together– it’s not rocket science. Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment.

Not impressed from my visit back in Oct ’12. I had a male stylist and he was very out of touch. Not to mention his station was strange — he pulled out a travel size hairspray from his own personal bag to use on me when finished with my hair. It all just seemed strange. Then the woman behind the counter that rang me up was clueless with helping me regarding a product to buy. I will not be back, even though the cut turned out pretty decent. $ 45 for the cut I received.

Price was not worth the experience from this«salon». The cost should be used to help renovate the salon as it really needs to be updated. I came in for a haircut — wanted long layers… left… got home and realize i now have a mullet-like hair. Not happy. But honestly, what can i really do… wait for my hair to grow out and get it done elsewhere.

I had a very good experience there! My hair dresser Bonita ROCKS! She’s an excellent colorist! I went in with color damaged, dull hair and came out looking GREAT! Bonita’s has over 10 years experience. I let her pick the color and style for my face type and life style. She really did a wonderful job with the color! My friends and husband love it!!! I would have given 5 stars but the back up of 4 people at the wash sink ready bothered me. No one came to assist and when I asked if she could get help she politely said no. Oh and to make matters worse in stead of her going from sink to sink washing us she had us all get up 3 times to use one sink! I know this is is very minor but hey it bothered me for an up scale salon! Otherwise everyone was professional, place clean, and I’d go back!
