Well, it isn’t an Inn. It’s a motel with inconsistent WiFi. Our room(9) didn’t have Wifi. The bed was hard as a rock and the two pillows were grossly flat and … well-used. The carpet had been vacuumed but was stained. The bathroom glass shelf was not fixed to the metal brackets, which was dangerous. There was no phone or fridge in the room. There were old bags of ice available for guests. The ice had melted into a block, but worked well to keep our food chilled. The staff at the counter was unfriendly. To pass the time, we read the Welcome Guide and were amused to find the request for guests not to smoke near the rooms, when we kept smelling smoke in our room from the motel staff smoking right outside of the room. On the morning of the final day, when we were annoyed by the inconvenience of not having Wifi, her words were apologetic, but she still was unfriendly. The owner was nice and promised us a discount for not having WiFi. She also explained that the rooms were being renovated and the shelf was going to be switched to wood. The office has returned my call and has promised that we will see some percentage refunded for not having WiFi. 10÷1÷14 Credit was processed, which I appreciate. Well, now 10÷4÷14 we’ve received a letter of apology and coupon for our next stay. I’m upping my rating. I think this family business really cares about their customer satisfaction.
