We swung by after a tiring day of running through the waves like when we were kids. None of us are kids anymore, mind you, so by the time we got home no one felt like cooking. We called this place, which is attached to Hooper’s, and half an hour later were sitting down to a seafood feast at the shore house, which was reasonably priced and sufficient to satisfy 4 famished adults. We got the flounder combo, which included fried and stuffed flounder pieces, fries, cole slaw, and of course tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges to accompany, as well as a nice large tossed salad. Dinner. Done. We also got a couple of appetizers– stuffed mushrooms and calamari. We enjoyed everything except the fries, which we didn’t finish because they were mushy and greasy. Everything else, though, was flavorful, hot(if it was supposed to be), and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. We did takeout but I think they also deliver, and you can call in your order ahead to pick up at the end of whatever your seaside day entails. We’ll definitely have this place on our radar next time we find ourselves hungry, tired, and down the shore.
