Love this place. Can’t say anything bad. Service is impeccable no matter how busy you’ll always have great service. Very nice and intimate, very cool place to be in. Food is very good. If there’s an error(which has happened once only) they fix it. It’s super great. I highly recommend this place. Great place in Brighton.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants for a nice date with my fiancé. Our last waiter, Zachary, was fantastic! He was really nice and knowledgable about the menu and the extensive drink menu. The pork rib chop and Diablo pasta are the best I’ve tried so far! Also, best tiramisu I’ve found in Brighton.

hubby wanted to give one star after eating here this week. he got the fettuccine al fredo with chicken. they have changed their menu and taken many many items off-from at least 2 pages(or more) down to one; mainly the vegetarian stuff which i want. he use to get the fettuccine without chicken; that was an add on. only vege pasta now is the butternut squash ravioli. both these pastas were not good. the sauces on both were all wrong. fettuccine sauce was watery, grainy and had an awful taste-like is was a powdered mix. hubby said chicken was some of the worst he has ever gotten anywhere. he says one bad meal and he won’t be back. which is justified since we use to love their food. not paying these price for mediocrity. my sauce on ravioli was also watery, obviously no cream, not reduced properly. it was closer to what it had been so many times in the past but not nearly as good. service was slow but efficient but with a frown and no common courtesy. don’t know that the girl ever gave us her name. would have liked Darryl who i haven’t seen in last two visits. he always went out of his way to give good service, even helping at our table when he wasn’t our waiter, picking up the slack of one of the female waitress’. this place has now fallen off our future radar.

Make sure you make a reservation. Wait is crazy long on Saturday night if you don’t. No idea if the food is any good. Still waiting… and waiting… and waiting. Thinking of having a pizza delivered.

Had our 37th anniversary there. What a fantastic place. 9 of us including 3 young children. They have no kids menu. They just bring a small portion and charge less. Nobody had any thing but praise. We all tried each other’so food. I could not find any thing I didn’t like. Service is great. Frendlly, helpful staff. Don’t miss this.

We got married in Howell and decided to have our rehearsal dinner here. We initially came in and tried the dinner. We spoke to the manager about our rehearsal dinner plans and didn’t charge us for our dinners. On the dated of the rehearsal we ended up getting the chicken parmesan and flank steak buffet style; also there delicious bread rolls. Tiramisu for dessert. The food was Fantastic and service was great. We enjoyed the food here more than on our wedding day! Can’t wait to come back next year for our one year anniversary!

Stopped here on our way through town. I wasn’t familiar with Brighton or this restaurant, but when your pregnant wife says that she wants pasta, then you find pasta. It was pretty empty being 4:00 on a Sunday, so service was pretty attentive. I never saw the bottom of a water glass. The wife started with a salad and said the ranch was delicious. I had chipotle chicken soup, which was good but didn’t fit so well with the rest of dinner or the style of the restaurant(but I ordered it, so it’s my own fault if I’d didn’t fit with my meal). The bread and dipping oil was fresh and delicious. Her entrée was the chicken piccata. She said that she liked piccata to be even more lemony, but she very much enjoyed it. I had the spaghetti bolognese with meatballs. The meatballs were luscious, firm, and tender. The pasta was perfectly cook and the sauce was very good. The menu was reasonably priced and there other items I would love to try. I’ll definitely make another stop at Ciao Amigi’s when we’re in the area.

The butternut ravioli here is so good that I haven’t tried anything else! Stuffed with butternut squash pureé, walnuts and exotic mushrooms in a creamy marsala sage sauce.

Had a nice meal Friday night. Tom was very attentive the whole meal. Food for all 5 of us was very good. Bolanaise sauce is outstanding. Add a couple of meatballs and you have food for two.

The food is grand however the service is another story. The hostess especially were rude and it was overall a disappointment.

Before coming to Ciao Amici, I read many reviews on Unilocal. When somebody told me that food and service was great, my husband and I decided to bring one of our friends visiting from Arizona. The bread was the best part of our meal. It was fresh out of the oven, and the dipping oil with balsamic and assorted spices was on point. Service was absolutely terrible. Other than our group of three, there was a gentleman sitting by himself in the back and a booth of two elderly ladies sitting not far from us. We didn’t see the waitress much, and when we did see her, she wasn’t super helpful. I ordered the gnocchi, which by itself was pretty good. However, I would have loved to see which types of cheese were in the dish on the menu, as one cheese ruined the whole dish.(It tasted like blue cheese, which is the one cheese on God’s green earth I don’t like.) The husband’s chicken parm was mediocre. We had lots of leftovers but didn’t take anything home. We were both sick after our visit as well, which I suspect might have been from the salad dressing.

Now here is an example of a phenomenal restaurant. Food made from scratch is off the charts, excellent. Servers are mature, know the food, know the wine list and are very well trained. My husband had the veal scallopini and he ate every bite and every drop of the sauce. I had the eggplant parm, which is cut lengthwise and very thin, making it really crisp. I would have preferred an angel hair pasta on the side, but the pasta sauce was very good, pasta a bit over cooked. Now the hit of the meal was the mushroom bisque, full of earthy flavor, I could have just had that as a meal. Kim was just wonderful, knowledgeable, took time to talk and care about our meal as if we were guests in her own home. Booked on Open Table which we recommend as this place can get busy.

I stopped by here early on a Sunday right when they opened. It was after a long run, so I was in sweaty workout clothes. But I wanted pasta! So I went to find pasta. I immediately felt WAY underdressed and like the wrong clientele for this place in my attire. Old-world Italian décor, nice cloth napkins and romantic booths… I was definitely out of place. But I was greeted immediately and warmly. I was ushered to a booth and my waiter didn’t even seem to notice my frazzled hair and sweaty clothes. Definitely great service! I ordered the chicken parm with pasta on the side. It came with a soup or salad with bread. I got the salad and immediately devoured the bread(it’s carbs!). The dipping dressing/oil was a nice touch. My meal was a bit slow, but the kitchen was likely still getting on their feet and my waiter kept me updated frequently. The food was delicious. The chicken of the dish was a bit soggy and not crisp, but everything was delicious and despite me having a «lunch» portion, I still went home with leftovers. The only downside was there was a baby shower on the other side of the restaurant full of screeching women. I wasn’t a fan, but there wasn’t much the restaurant could do, really. Especially since they DID book the space. It just made it hard to think. I’d give the food about a «3.5». The service was a full on 5, though, for accepting my stinky exercise clothes and messy hair.

The food was great, my veal parm was yummy and the squash with it was just right. My friend enjoyed her meal as well, and the gnocci was top notch. The lower rating is due to the atmosphere. First, there were tons of little fruit flies around, and second, there seems to be a dance club nearby because you could hear and even slightly feel the bass rumbling the restaurant — at 7:00 at night!?! The restaurant itself is loud(ish) and with that extra club noise, we couldn’t talk at a normal level. Service was very good.

First time here, had a dinner with my sister and sister-in-law! We had no problem getting a table on this Wednesday night, and were offered drinks off the bat. Our waitress was very pleasant and checked on us(and not in an overly annoying kind of way either). We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was half off. Delish! The bread basket was good and warm, seemed slightly smoothed, but still tasty… Although I was not a fan of the dipping oil. French onion soup was yummy! I got the Chicken Alfredo, the noodles and sauce were great, but the chicken was just meh. The other meals were well reviewed(chicken piccata and eggplant parm). We got dessert! Happy with the overall experience! Would return def!

Nice ambiance. I was hesitant walking in because I was in jean shorts since it was an unplanned visit. Everyone was very nice. They serve a really great fresh bread with a balsamic dipping oil. My sister ate my side Gorgonzola salad substituted with mozzarella. She said it takes fresh and clean. Halfway through she said she really liked it. She had pizza which was good. My mom had had just a side salad and said the balsamic dressing was good. They put just the right of of dressing on both. She really like the gnocchi. It was so cheesy when I took a bite, the cheese pulled out an extra gnocchi and flipped it all the way to my plate. We laughed pretty hard. I had the prosciutto wrapped chicken. A little drier than I hope but the flavors were light and nice. Lemon cake split for dessert.

i will give them 2 star. 4 star for their food and 1 star for their service. we ordered meat source spaghetti. the presentation is so so but the flavor oh man is right on spot. also the crab cake for appetizer, very delicious. but the service, not so much. the waiter and waitress served us today seemed to have two faces. after we sit down around the table we were asked if we would like some wine, we told her we will decide later she seemed very disappointed and was acting rude all night. i won’t come back

I love Italian food. I think Ciao Amici’s does it justice, however I’m not a huge fan of their tomato-based sauces. Maybe it’s a regional thing within Italian families, but I’ve noticed families make their sauces differently… some are basil-based, some are oregano-based, some are both, and some can be acidic, while others add sugar to base-it-out. Some are creamy, while others are more natural. I prefer the natural, non-acidic oregano based sauces… so I’m not a fan of Ciao Amici’s. Still the service is good and the ambiance is very romantic. There’s plenty on the menu that would appeal to many people. It is kind of pricy though.

Our favorite restaurant in the Brighton area. Attentive service, well seasoned dishes and casual but classy atmosphere. The bread is to die for with the balsamic, parmesan and oil mixture for dipping. I had the eggplant parmesan as my entrée and was not disappointed. Their red sauce is wonderful. Was a large portion, had to bring some home. Will definitely return many times in the future!
