This is a great park but they dont take care of it the bathrooms never have soap and water fountains are alway cloged up and the shut the water down for the samd box the grass is all dead

This is a great place to hang with your friends or play on the playground or just play baseball. I love hanging with my friends we love hang on the monkey bars upside down. I love the view of city hall… LoL it’s right in front of you when you get there. This would be great if you to ride your bike… skateboard…scooter…or a rib-​stick

I’m giving this three stars because it seems like it could really be a great park. That is, if you catch it at the right time and on the right day.
It seems we always encounter older kids. I’m glad they have a safe place to hang out and something to do because there really isn’t a lot for them in Brighton. However, I wish they had some respect for the little ones around them. I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard the F word and many other things I’d rather my kids not hear at the park.
I also have noticed that there are rarely ever any parents around. At least not when we’ve been there. So, when I’ve politely asked people to not use foul language and/​or to not act like rude little monsters… they don’t care. At all. And make it a point to do it even more just because they can.
The last time we went here, I parked in the dirt lot next to the park. There was only one other car there. I didn’t realize until I was getting out of my car that the people in the car next to me were teenagers and they were getting high and having sex. I really don’t care if you smoke and I don’t care about your sex life… but this was in the afternoon next to a children’s playground. WTF? And holy crap teenage girls, have some respect for yourselves!
So…overall, it could be a great park if you get there at the right time of day. I have yet to discover when that time is. Five stars for the really cool and colorful playground equipment, three stars for the unfortunate environment it seems to be in.

Such a fun park with lots for the little ones and the bigger kids too. We go here as often as weather permits. They have slides, swings, climbing contraptions, a rink that I see a lot of people playing street hockey, lots of grass, and even a bathroom! The only downside is at times its super busy and there is quite a few children without parents.
