Ran in for a quick salad and I was pleased. Ordered the Southwest salad with chicken — major YUM! I’ll be back for sure!

This place is awesome. The lattes are really good-they have seasonal flavors like horchata in the summer and maple in the winter. Every sandwich I’ve had here is excellent but my favorite is the grilled beef-spicy and delicious!

Last weekend, I stopped in here for a lunch with friends and ended up eating one of my favorite salads ever: the grilled chicken Southwestern salad(sans red bell peppers on mine). The portions are gigantic and the salad ingredients were all super fresh. The mix of chicken, cotija cheese, black beans, green onions, corn, romaine, cilantro, and tortilla strips all went so well together with a nice balance of ingredients. I now may have to make my own chile lime vinaigrette dressing too because it was top-notch! My two friends got the Roasted Tofu salad and the Cobb salad respectively and both raved about the size and quality of their salads as well. This place is a great choice for a healthy, satisfying, and filling lunch! I don’t live very close to the café, but plan to drive back anyway.

Excellent place. The Cobb salad was fantastic and the Asian noodle salad is my friends’s favorite. I’m trying the Asian chicken sandwich today…

O. M. G. Are you kidding me? This place is off the hook delicious. I don’t remember the last time I had a sandwich this tasty, and with obviously highest quality ingredients(I had the Cubano Panini), in so long, it doesn’t matter. The staff is fun, friendly and fast. They obviously know their regulars, cuz it’s like Cheers in here. My first meal, on my first day in Boston. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I have tried a ton food Bahn Mi sandwiches, ranging from«authentic» at Super 88 in Allston and at other deli type of places — nothing has come close to the one at Dash. I’ve worked down the street for a few years and this place is consistently great!

Having lived in the neighborhood for a while, I surprisingly had never been to Dash Café before. It was a cute little café with a nice sandwich and salad selection. I ordered the grilled beef sandwich with grilled skirt steak, jalapeño jack cheese, chipotle aioli, tomatoes, and arugula, on ciabatta roll. It was delicious and an order of the regular fries were quite good as well. I definitely plan to return and try some of their other menu options.

I go here frequently and always love the food, staff and atmosphere. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I LOVE the Southwestern salad and the Asian Fried Chicken sandwich is delectable, as is their pulled pork sandwich when it’s featured as a special. Go here and support this wonderful mom and pop!

The asian fried chicken sandwich is good… — little overloaded with the asian slaw but the fried chicken isnt oily and very fresh and crispy.

Veggie panini was very tasty as was cream of mushroom soup, bagels, coffee. Bright and inviting if limited indoor seating. Parking required luck or good timing. Quality control, menu, quality of ingredients seem much better than average. Recommended as a casual deli style restaurant(no table service).

Okay, you know how there’s a massive gulf between when you go to a restaurant and it’s «good» and when you go to a restaurant and it’s «amazing»? Dash Café is amazing. No doubt. Went for brunch yesterday and got the eggs benedict. The dish is essentially eggs benedict with bacon on top of slices of tomato and avocado on a jalapeño corn bread. Very messy but fantastic. The coffee is also great. Nice and strong. Seeing as this place is only a few blocks from my apartment, I am 100% planning on returning. Highly recommended.

I work at Saint Elizabeth’s & Dash has become our go to! The salads are to die for, in particular the Cobb and southwest. Also the veggie panini is so good. Also if you have a sweet tooth try the brownies! Great local business!

I had the Asian chicken salad and it was very delicious. The ingredients used for the salad were very fresh and the chicken was well done. Just how I like it! They payed closed attention to presentation and the salad looked very nice. I can’t wait to try other things from their menu. definitely eating here again.

This place is amazing. I love to go here with friends, great menu and everything is super fresh. Staff are friendly. It does get busy for lunch so maybe call ahead if your in a rush. Their soups/salads and sandwiches are amazing.

After two years of trying most of the salads and sandwiches, and never hitting a dud, I tried the Eggs Benedict for the first time this morning. The cornbread played so nicely with the avocado. The eggs were PERFECTLY poached. The hollandaise was creamy but not gluey. The ham was tender enough to cut with a fork. Every bite was a terrific combination of flavors and textures. And, the people who work at the Dash are adorable… I am pretty much speechless.

After two spectacular visits(and many more to come, I’m sure, as I start my job at St. Elizabeth’s), Dash is quickly becoming one of my favorite sandwich spots in the Boston area. So far I’ve tried the Asian fried chicken sandwich – which could have probably used a softer bread(unless my brioche was overcooked?) to balance out the crunchiness of the chicken and the slaw – and the veggie panini – which is simply unimprovable. Both sandwiches come with a pickle and a side scoop of pasta or potato salad and are notable for their generous size and bold, fresh ingredients. For less than $ 10, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better, more satisfying lunch anywhere. As if the incredible food(which runs the gamut from soup, salad, and sandwiches to burritos and breakfast – you best believe I’m going to make it my mission to try it all) wasn’t enough, service at Dash, while at times a little slow(good food takes time to prepare, regardless of the name of the restaurant), is warm and welcoming. It’s clear the people working at Dash care about their customers and providing them with the best experience possible. Oh, and did I mention that you can get a free iced coffee with any purchase if you check in with the Unilocal app? Seriously, it’s an embarrassment of riches at Dash. What are you even doing still reading this review? Go there now!

This was our first meal out after a long day of unpacking and it was also our first meal out in Boston! We came upon Dash Café while just walking around looking for Lunch and thought sandwiches and salads sounded refreshing! We ordered the Bahn Mi with Pork and a Asian Chicken Salad.(Next time I’ll have to try the Asian Fried Chicken Sandwich– apparently it’s all the rage!) The ice tea here is unsweetened and SODELICIOUS! Perfect for summer weather! We sat in the back where there is a very small patio– it’s very cute. Our meals came in about ten minutes or so. We were blown away by how both the sandwich and the salad were so well done! The tastes were superb and the ingredients were just fresh and delicious! Couldn’t have asked for a better first meal! Price isn’t too bad either. Overall two sandwiches and an ice tea added up to about $ 23! Definitely will come back again!

Best. Fried chicken sandwich. Ever. We randomly walked by this place one day and decided to step in and try it, and have been coming back ever since. The Asian fried chicken sandwich is perfect, with sriracha aoli and a little bit of coleslaw. My favorite part of the sandwich is actually the bread: they use these brioche buns that are perfectly fresh and sweet. I’ve also had the banh mi and the chicken pesto sandwich, and they are quality. However what brings me back every time is that fried chicken! I can’t get enough of it!

I have been here multiple times, and I know what to expect each time– attentive cashier service, an average of a 15 minute wait, and AMAZING food. I usually stick to the same thing, the Asian fried chicken sandwich. Quality bread, fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and the perfect balance between savory and tangy. I have ventured out to the banh mi as well, which is also very good. I live farther away now so coming to Dash is a weekend treat. Minus one star because although you get attentive cashier service, they do not make you feel welcome. Everyone that works here looks like they hate life. I try to smile and make conversation, but I get nothing in return. I don’t mean to be one of those snooty reviewers that demand perfect service and attention, but it’s true what they say– a little smile goes a long way.

Heavenly turkey breast panini! When in doubt always order this one, it’ll melt in your mouth and make you smile. Also the soup of the day is a must try! They’re all so healthy and home made. You just know it by looking at it and tasting it. Best healthy home meal café. I would recommend the homemade chocolate oatmeal cookie for a snack togo later. Or their other amazing pastries. Their cappucino and chai latte are quite good too.
