Wanted some good Mexican food, and we definitely found it. Their ceviche is amazing! I wish I would’ve ordered two just for me. I got a steak salad, the steak was flavorful and delicious, the rest of the salad was just like a regular house salad with basic lettuce and tomatoes. I will definitely come here again.

This is a great family owned restaurant in Brighton Colorado… I’m a huge fan of the Camarones a la Diabla, it is the only thing I order… I tell the chef that I would like to cry, and he does his specialty sause, the sauce has a flavor that I cannot describe, it leaves you going back for more it is not on the menu and you have to order it… The rice is also fresh and fantastic with the sauce… The normal order comes with corn tortillas, I ask for flour, I prefer it with flour tortillas… the sauce is very tasty and the spice I could handle, depending on the day they’ll do chips and salsa or tuna dips, which is very good and fresh… If you catch yourself in Brighton Colorado, stop at El Cameron loco

This place is the best Mexican seafood restaurant in Brighton the food is very fresh and very pleasing to the eye, the people are very friendly. It is very cute cozy little place right in the middle of downtown Brighton highly recommended if you you like Mexican seafood.

I loved it, the family hated it. I loved shrimp bits in the salsa, loved the shrimp on top of my corona and the atmosphere felt like i was in a tourist trap in Mazatlan. The family… I giess they dont like shrimp the way I do. My wife felt like they were over priced. So– I’ll be going back on lunch hours.

Classic cantina feel. Perfect shrimp and fish tacos, tostadas, and margaritas. The proprietors really care about their restaurant.

Ok, so this wasn’t the best experience based on the 2-stars I’m giving the place… But keep this in mind, the service was some of the best I’ve ever had in Denver(It was worth at least 1-star)! But because you can’t ‘eat’ service, here’s what went wrong(and why I should have given just a 1-star review): — Ordered a Diet Coke… Came out with no glass. Yep, here’s a can of soda for you! When I asked for a glass of ice, out came a glass with 1⁄3 ice(it’s a simple recipe!) — Asked if I could get some chips and salsa. Waitress explained that there house empanadas were on the way out(more on this next), but brought me some after I begged. Chips from a bag and salsa from a freezer(I kid you not, there was ice in it). It was BAAADDDDDD. Even worse, it cost an additional $ 2! — Empanadas were a little greasy per another reviewer, but what no one has talked about was the taste… Tuna from a can placed in an empanada wrapper and fried is never a good thing(but no ice like the salsa!) — Chicken Burrito was, well, anything but special. While the best part was the sour cream topping that I scraped off(sorry, lactose intolerant here!), the chicken was cooked up on a flat top and the concoction was stuffed with rice, peas, carrots, but no beans. I don’t get it… I did what I could, thanked the gentleman from the kitchen and my waitress and departed after they realized that they couldn’t accept my AMEX(«For some reason it got declined» said the waitress. «Do you take AMEX?» I said after looking at the bill folio that had AMEX on it. «I guess we don’t?» said the waitress). Again, really friendly service… But you can’t eat that! Next time, I’ll go to Chipotle.

Authentic excellent mexican food. I had shrimp enchiladas with green chili. They were wonderful! Small restaurant, very friendly. This was my first visit, but I will definitely go there again!

If you haven’t tried this place yet, you should. It is a bit tucked away, but worth finding. Much is written about their seafood, as it is a staple of their menu. If you are not a fan of seafood, fear not. I had the smothered chicken burrito, and it was amazing. There is a generous amount of very flavorful chicken on this dish. The green chili is delicious, and the portion is quite generous. The shrimp relleno is awesome, as has been stated in many reviews. The people there were quite friendly. Parking is in the back… a little hard to find… but find it! You’ll be glad you did.

I went by myself on a week night and was the only diner. I am perfectly content to dine alone. I watched the USA beat Mexico to qualify for World Cup 2014 Brazil. The name clearly states what’s on the menu: shrimp(camarones). Instead of free chips and salsa, they give you these little meat filled empanadas. The shrimp came with rice(not Mexican rice strangely) and a small avocado and tomato salad. For me, the meal was perfectly fine. I have better and much worse. I’d go back.

What a surprise! Friendly staff, bright décor. The menu is heavily seafood, but oh my… I had Stuffed Shrimp. OMG! Shrimp stuffed with with ham and white cheese, then wrapped in(get ready for this) crisp bacon. If you can lay aside cholesterol concerns, this was a fantastic tasting combination. The shrimp held their own and were nice and firm. Shrimp rumaki! Instead of chips and salsa, we were served little freshly cooked Tuna empanadas with a slow-burn green salsa. Not bad, but the predominamt taste was the oil they were cooked in. If you’re flying out of DIA this is worth the short side trip.

Crazy Good — Unlike any other Mexican I’ve had. Big seafood, shrimp menu. The shrimp rellenos were awesome. If you want to get out for some Mexican that is different and better than the rest, check it out. You will be glad you did.

Amazing food. We first found this place in aurora and happened to be craving Mexican seafood while up north. Try number 27 the enchiladas they made the drive worth while. We will be back a lot

Although I’ve only been once, I was thoroughly impressed! This isn’t your average Mexican restaurant. First good sign — we walked in to a very clean, nicely decorated space. It definitely wasn’t fancy, but it was cool — a nautical theme to go along with the cuisine. Second good sign — we were the only non-native Spanish speakers in the place. Third good sign — nearly nothing on the menu was like every single other Mexican restaurant out there. Most of their dishes are shrimp based, but you can also get whole fish, squid(or maybe they were tiny octupi), and I’m sure others that I couldn’t translate. I got a dish with shrimp wrapped in bacon. It was great! My wife got beef tacos. They beef was tender and the sauces they gave us were very tasty & fresh. I’m looking forward to going back & trying more at this truly unique restaurant!
