First night in new apartment across the street and needed something quick. Limited options on a Sunday evening so opted for a couple of slices from here. It’s a small hole in the wall type place but sometimes that can offer the best pizza and subs. It doesn’t look like the cleanest place but no idea how they actually operate. They were very friendly. The pizza was a-okay but nothing great. 5 something for 2 slices and a can of soda so it did the trick.

We used to order from this place for a long time. Tonight the food was absolutely horrible. We ordered Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo, we got burned chicken and cheese melted over pasta. Absolutely gross. But that wasn’t the worse part. Before we started eating that horrible food, we had to deal with the miserable delivery guy. The driver wanted to start arguing with us over the tip, asking us for cash. We tried to explain to him that we ordered through Foodler and paid with a credit card, BUT if he would just give us the Foodler receipt we can make changes on the receipt. He didn’t seem to grasp that concept and complained that it would take all night and just started yelling at me in his broken english. Meanwhile I was freezing to death since it is –20 degrees in Boston, I just wanted him to shut up and leave at that point. That is just major bs. EVERY Foodler order comes with a receipt(most places don’t give it to you though, because the receipt also has a 10% discount code FYI). But you can add an additional tip on the receipt. This guy is just lazy. I know this because he never gets out of his car, he just beeps the horn and makes us go downstairs and wait until he slowly gets out of the car and gets the food. He is a big guy, but that’s no excuse to not do his job properly. Or to disrespect people at their residence. I won’t be ordering from this place anymore. I figured I can cook a much better meal at home than the pile of crap they served us tonight. And I won’t have to deal with some old miserable guy who doesn’t understand technology.

Got some waaaaangs and frozen yogurt here one day. Typical pizza shop — nothing that blew me out of the water. Can’t really mess wings up, or blending candy pieces into frozen yogurt.

I’ve been looking for a thick, cheesy pizza since I moved here 5 years ago… I FINALLYFOUNDIT. This place is magical. The food is amazing and priced exceptionally well. After five years, I found my go-to.

While the food is by no means bad, I am not a fan of false advertising. Part of my latest order included and item that read«Quesadilla», which I was surprised to mean 5 Taquitos with watery tomato sauce, I would call it Marinara sauce but that would be too generous. While it is entirely my fault for not reading closely, it found it annoying that this is the only place I have ever ordered from that does not include some basics in ordering of burgers. I received exactly what I ordered, a burger with no lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, etc. As i have said the food is fine, their menu/outward transparency needs some work.

I’ve returned to Fast Eddie’s a few times now(despite forgetting to check in on Unilocal), and I’ve been very happy with the food and service every time. From what I can tell, it seems to be a small family-run restaurant, and it’s nice to be able to support local businesses such as this. Of the things that I’ve tried, I think I like the ‘Meat Lover’s Specialty Pizza’ the best– it doesn’t have too much sauce, and the flavour is quite good. I’ve also tried the Buffalo tenders, and they were also good, though my mouth was on fire, so I don’t exactly know if I tasted anything other than buffalo sauce.

I love Fast Eddie’s. It is what it is and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. Pizza is delicious, so are gyros. As long as you stick with basics, you’ll be satisfied.

We tried this place since we were new to the area and it is close to our apt and has free delivery. Those two things are the only thing good about the experience. Our food took forever to get to us then it was gross. Ordered a simple pepperoni and bacon pizza. Whatever that was, it wasn’t bacon. The grossest pizza I’ve ever had. We threw it out so that was a waste of $ 25. No one could ever pay me to eat from this place. Period.

Ordered from Foodler and it took over two hours for the food to be delivered. When it finally got here, it was mediocre and cold. I called the place a couple of times to check in on the order and I was given no answers except that the delivery would«be there soon». Most likely will not be ordering from them again.

Never delivered our food. Manager did not even listen to what I was saying to him when I called to complain. He told us to cancel our order with our credit card company. Ridiculous.

The guy that’s always there(maybe Eddie?) is friendly. The establishment is a little drab but very affordable for pizza. The pizza is solid and cheap.

I really want to like this place. It’s a tiny location two blocks away from my apartment and serves you almost immediately, as there is never a line. However, I unfortunately think that never having to wait is telling. I’ve been here a few times now and the story has always been the same: a few slices of pizza that look like they’ve been reheated, which they tried to make up for by throwing mozzarella on top. Unfortunately that made it even more obvious that the pizza wasn’t fresh. If I want something on the go as I’m about to wait for the B line, I might go back, but unfortunately I plan to seek out other options first, even if I have to make a longer walk.

I’ve lived in the area for almost 5 years and can say that I’ve had Fast Eddies at least once a month during that span. The subs are great(especially the danger zone sandwiches — the«fat chicken» is a treasure from the gods). Had the pizza once, it was decent but i’m a pizza snob and would rather go to Pino’s in Cleveland Circle over any other spot in Brighton(now that Imperial is closed). The service can be a touch slow, but if you are picking your food up just add 5 – 10 minutes to whatever they told you and you’ll get your food fresh out of the oven. The owner and his son are super friendly and do a great job.

I’ve eaten in, it’s quite hot at the time they had no AC but the owner is super friendly and made a great BBQ chicken pizza. It’s very think and crunchy super satisfying pizza. I would recommend if you don’t mind a little heat in the summer.

I tried the italian cold cut sub, the steak bomb sub, and the big daddy sub. Let me preface this by saying I’ve been on the look out for a straight up Cosby sub for like 6 years… It has to be awesome, it has to be huge, and it has to be relatively inexpensive. This thing. This freaking sandwich. This italian cold cut sub… it’s so good, and the large is enough to get you through 2 lightish meals, or 1 awesome food coma. I just ate this thing yesterday and I had to talk myself out of ordering it again today. I’m not saying this is the best italian sub in the city, but it fits my criteria and I’ll definitely order it again. The steak bomb was good, and so was the big daddy — the grilled chicken was really good but the jalapeño poppers weren’t anything special… but the chicken, cheese, ranch dressing, and garlic bread made it good enough to order again. Oh, we also got onion rings, which, like the poppers on the sub, were kind of meh. A lot of breading, and not really worth it. The italian cold cut sub will definitely happen to me again… soon. I hope they also deliver chips and orange soda, so I can get a full on Heathcliff Huxtable thing going and not have to get out of my pajamas.

The pizza was not very good. :(pretty disgusting in fact. I might go back and try a calzone since people seem to like them.

What is odd about this place is that the pizza looks gross but tastes okay, nothing special. I didn’t get sick from it or anything like that, but my heated slice didn’t look very appetizing. I was afraid of how it would taste, but it tasted like your generic Greekish type pizza joint. I say Greekish because while it looked mostly like a Greek style pizza, I think there must be some other kind of middle eastern influence in how the dough is prepared/made. I would not return to this place. I should have read the other Unilocal reviews before rushing in to get a slice.

I’m picky about pizza. I grew up in New York, and so I feel like I know what I like on a good pie. I have a good feel for the thickness of the crust, the richness of the dough… Yeah. Fast Eddie’s doesn’t deliver on their pizza for me. But their calzones… Moving to Boston created a calzone fetish for me, and this place is to blame. That said, this restaurant has two cooks. One makes a flat, lifeless and ugly version. The other makes a rolled, cheese-filled masterpiece that oozes toppings just a bit as you pull the pieces apart. It’s delectable and terrible for my waist, I know, but it’s SO. DAMN. GOOD. The other items on their menu are serviceable. I am not a fan of their sandwiches and most of the sides are overpriced. But I keep coming back for that damn four-cheese calzone… Avoid anything with turkey on their menu. It’s always a little slimy. I get the feeling nobody ever orders it, but the couple times I or a friend have tried it, the experience has been off-putting.
