In the war over Adams County, this store was built to be the Finale Destination for Everything, competing against Prairie Center, the Failed Experiment In Sales Tax to the south. Problem: it’s unreasonable to offer Everything. RH Macy proved that. The size of an airport,(really), so those among the aged and physically obese classification in Brighton(you know who you are), its sheer size will be an issue. Its departmental approach falls flat vs Amazon’s virtual experience, and the small-town feel of bakery-deli-butcher customer service is an unwinnable combination of inexperience and apathy. Devry and U of Phx would have a field day recruiting its staff to their schools for professional development. Their sale tagging system gags their computer database(Dell registers… DELL)…hence why most other bad reviews here talk about floor pricing difficulties when it’s time to check out. Since the population boom of Brighton will be fixed upon the next Presidential election, those who reside in NE Brighton and shop here will experience what we call a Boom Town Gone Bust in the next 5 – 10 years. Parking is average. Have low expectations and be prepared to see anyone you Friend on social media there as you shop. The epitome of small town microeconomics imploding.

Groceries are great but never buy anything from electronics… EVER! Was in a bind and ran in quick for a phone charger… Found 1 marked $ 5(literally only needed one for an hour). It rang up for $ 15. They looked, said it had the wrong tag & wouldn’t adjust the price, but they did fix the price tag. Said the item was in the wrong spot. Ummmm, I thought their corporate policy was if it rings up wrong it’s free? Got in the car… Charger doesn’t work. LAME! Stick to the groceries here. (We had a similar problem in the toy department last week… Crappy service when it comes to anything outside of groceries.)

This place is almost a little too big. If you don’t go often, you get lost. I have gone twice now since it opened and bought more than intended. But I will be going back again this weekend as they have«zoo animals» for a buck a piece that my daughter loves. I do like that they have a clothing department, furniture & jewelry. And the best thing about it is that they are small departments so you are not overwhelmed with too many choices. They also have great sales! Last weekend they did 50% off sale clothes and we ended up getting a kids nightgown, kids dress, denim capris, cargo shorts and a shirt for under $ 60. So needless to say our bill was higher than intended. I love the bread slicer that they have and the machine to make your own peanut butter & granola!

The store is great. It would have 10 stars if it weren’t for the bakery. We shop here all the time. The bakery really screwed up my sons birthday cake. They didn’t read the order and ended up putting the center filling on the bottom of the cake. So it was super messy and hard to cut. They also used completely different colors than what my son picked. They didn’t read the order. When I mentioned it to the lady she didn’t even apologize. Her attitude was well what do you want me to do? They didn’t seem to care either when I told them. Really sad about it but I have heard that from a few friends. :(

Beautiful, huge store. Unfortunately they do not honor their sale signs. Staff is kind, however seem to not be able to make decisions in the best interests of the store and their customers.
