I’ve never been more disappointed in a property management company. My boyfriend and I rented a townhome in Fort Lupton from them. The trash can was overflowing with dog shit. Once we moved in I had to pay to have it emptied. We filled out our initial move in report but nothing was fixed. I called Lambert to find out why. I was told that when we signed the lease you accept the unit in AS IS CONDITION! I contacted an attorney who told me this is illegal and not true. We had a tree growing out of the basement window well. The old carpet had holes in it that had been repaired. Most of the window screens had holes in them or were missing. Under every sink was a moldy rotting floor board. Our garage door never locked. Only after I threatened to give notice if the electrical issues weren’t addressed, did someone come out to fix the dangerous faulty wiring. They don’t care about you or your comfort and safety once you are locked in with a contract. They blame the owners of the properties stating that THEIR HANDS ARE TIED. I had a repairman tell me they say that, but in reality LAMBERT OWNS THE PROPERTY! I didn’t go to check the county records to confirm that. We had drawers in the kitchen that would fall out. Cupboards that have fists punched through them. All the cabinetry needs a good coat of paint. It wasn’t cleaned well before our move in. I found a cookie sheet in the oven, coat hangers under the sink and woman’s hair ties on the bedroom door knob. The turnover in these ten units is high. I’ve seen six units come and go in a period of eleven months. I would never rent from this company again. If you want a slumlord, this is your kind of company.
