I am just a intermediate newbie, nevertheless understanding many of the fundamentals. I underwent 3 instructors before ADAM DOUGLASS atMusic Producer Studios. Adam is really a uncommon instructor. In order to get the best from his students, he is perceptive enough to «feel» what direction a lesson needs to go. Also, he has sufficient encounter being a teacher and player to be aware what kind of «student» his college student tailor and is his strategy appropriately. Adam can also be cool and funny and helps make the session each difficult and great time simultaneously.

My kids have been taking trumpet and clarinet lessons at Music Maker Studios for the past several years. They do a great job and I recommend them highly. In particular, the teachers are talented, experienced, personable, and relate very well to the kids (and their parents). The recitals are well done and a lot of fun.

My church has been using the full band rehearsal spaces here for about 2 years now. It’s a great space. It’s not a fancy shmancy professional studio with loads of expensive equipment but they do have a sound system, mics, stands, amps, drums, pianos etc. in the rooms, all available for use. So no need to bring your own full setup. It’s clean, it’s spacious, temperature controlled, affordable and they’re flexible with scheduling. Bob, the owner, is a great guy. Very down to earth and happy to help.

I can’t imagine a better place to learn how to play a musical instrument and learn about music itself. As a old adult (62) beginner I’ve been treated with respect and a commitment to teach me all that is possible. The Studios’ owner, Bob Brenner, has an uncanny ability to hire the best teachers imaginable. I urge anyone of any age who has an interest in learning to play an instrument to check this place out. It is outstanding.

Growing up, I learned to play classical flute. But I always wanted to learn to improvise on the tenor saxophone. Thanks to Bob Brenner at Music Maker Studios, I have learned to do so on the tenor, alto and soprano saxophones (and sometimes even on the flute)! Even better, it has been fun to learn. I’ve made good friends playing in an ensemble, and I’ve even been able to play gigs for money. I will be grateful to Music Maker Studios for keeping music in my life for a long time to come.

I have been taking clarinet lesson with Bob. All I can say is he is a great instructors. I had a couple instructors when I was young but I feel I have finally found the teacher I can enjoy lessons with. He has taught me how to enjoy it. After the lesson, I always feel GREAT.
I often see he and other instructors talk to younger students. They seem to like the teachers a lot. They seem to enjoy talk to teachers. And instructors are always cheerful and friendly to kids. I love seeing them talking to each other.
I have 2 years old son and want him to start some instruments from next year. Too bad this place does not take small kids. I want my son to be in this nice and friendly environment, and learn music.
