I’m slightly easier to please when it comes to Chinese fast food, but all the negative reviews are earned. The Owner needs to reconsider their place in Brighton, where it seems the culture that fosters mediocrity(Brighton City Hall), sets the tone for all services offered. Panda Express is one of the most popular Americanized foreign cuisine franchises in US history and of course, Brighton CO has found a way to(bleep) it up. Over priced beverages, tiny eating areas.

Here is another place we will add to our do not eat here anymore list. Maybe it was an off night for these folks but the food was not the same as we had experienced in the past. We all ordered orange chicken that tasted like soy rocks with spice, no orange flavor at all. The wontons were sour and chewy as if they had been fried yesterday. Nobody finished all their food. What a waste of my money. The only thing good were the drinks. I was very disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Normally, the usual Panda Express is never fresh enough to be considered good food. But this location I find starts cranking out the fresh food around 12:35 in the afternoon. This is two days in a row that I find this hypothesis to be true! So if your in the mood for fresh, and piping hot Panda express. Get here around 12:35, and you are in for a treat!

You would think since this Panda Express recently opened, it would be properly staffed, managed and have high standards. Not the case. Every time my family and I have gone here, it’s been understaffed, managed poorly and has mediocre food quality. There will be three workers at the initial ordering area, no one in the middle and one person at the cash register. The three people are all over the place and throwing the orders at the poor cashier. I’m always worried my food is going to be mixed up with another customer’s. I’ve also noticed what seems like managers or corporate staff sitting in the lobby doing paperwork while the line is out the door. It drives me bonkers. My husband and I would drive all the way to the Thornton Panda when we lived in Brighton. I hope this place works out the kinks. Brighton could use some better food choices.

The good news is, this location is really clean and nice. It’s brand new, so that shouldn’t be a surprise. The food is consistent with every other Panda Express in the country. They have added a few premium items like steak and shrimp that are tasty, but a $ 1 surcharge that can make your fast-food meal a bit pricey if you get several of them. That said, I like the idea of not raising the price overall, just charging more for items that have a higher ingredient cost. The service is inexcusably slow here, both drive-through and in the restaurant. There don’t seem to be enough employees working here. They also run out of items quite often and don’t replenish them quickly. I realize that they are busy, but whoever is managing this place needs to staff appropriately and make sure people are able to get their food quickly, which is really the entire point of eating at a place like Panda. It’s called«Express» for a reason, right?
