PhD Maintenance Group

PhD Maintenance built a 4 foot shadowbox style cedar fence in our backyard and it turned out wonderful. The fence is very sturdy and clearly professionally built. The President, Brian, was great to work with and helpful throughout the process. I am having Brian back to do the trim on my house next month and am excited to share the results. I highly recommend this company.

Last Fall, PhD Maintenance built a short fence and gate. The crew left a mess when they finished… piled up dirt, and un-​filled holes in the yard. We had problems with the wooden gate since the beginning. It has since fallen apart. I spoke to him several weeks ago, and he promised to show up and repair the fence last Saturday. It is now a week later, and he has not called or emailed me. We were going to have Brian build a privacy fence for us this Spring. He only knew how to install stockade fencing, or a variation of that. We have taken bids from several contractors who will build an attractive fence for us for 1000 dollars less. Beware of this company. They are amateurs. Buyer beware!
Note: After I published this honest, albeit negative review, the owner of this company, Brian Maynard, has threatened me.
I should add, that there has never been any «civil litigation.» However, Brian Maynard has attempted to slander me online. He has persisted in name-​calling, and other types of intimidation. I reported Maynard to the Sheriff’s department, who phoned Mr. Maynard on my behalf. If he does not cease in this behavior, I will sue him for slander. It should also be noted that the gate that Maynard «built» has fallen apart. The fence, itself, is an eyesore.

I don’t know about carpet cleaning but PhD Maintenance Group spent the afternoon CLEANING OUR WINDOWS and the results are amazing. All our windows in the house look like the glass is not there. I was told that is their goal and they certainly achieved it with our windows. Tom and Chris were the guys to come to the house. They were polite, clean and very aware of our dogs so we didn’t lose a beagle in the process of coming in and out. Everything about the transaction was first rate and I plan to be a customer in the future.
