The food here really is great! I had a calzone, and it was amazing. Entirely to big though, half of it will definatley lunch tomorrow, and I don’t usually eat leftovers! The boyfriend had the best of both worlds pasta dish, an odd mixture of fettuccine alfredo and chicken parmesan, sounds weird, and looks weird, but it was delicious! Our server was very pleasant, and came to check on us just the right amount of times. All the staff were dressed similarly in black, they looked very professional and we’re all very courteous. What a spectacular little restaraunt! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Brighton.

The service is great and so is the food. I especially love their desserts. The marinara sauce is fabulous. Their salads are great. And the cheesecake is second to none. I’ll definitely be back.

I visited the restaurant today with two friends for lunch. Two of us ordered veal parm. Our soup and salads came right out, and as usual were good. The waitress cleared the plates, and informed us that there was a mistake with the veal parm, and the chef made two chicken parm dinners instead of two veal parm dinners. The lady at our table said she would be okay with the chicken parm. I don’t eat chicken so the waitress said she would fix it. So by fixing it she brought out the entrees and I got to sit there for five minutes and watch my friends enjoy their meals. Eventually my veal parm came out as my friends were finishing their lunch. The meal was good, but it sucks to sit there and watch them eat, and everyone is uncomfortable. We did not ask for any adjustments to the bill, nor a dessert to compinsate for the inconvenience. Nor was any gesture offered. As I said in an earlier review I like the restaurant, but I can assure the owner we won’t be back. It totally SUCKS when this happens, and they just don’t care. Sorry to say goodbye, but we will go to a restaurant that cares.

My wife and daughter and I went to Pinocchios for the first time last night. I have to say we were very impressed. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic dinner or a large group of friends. Good spacing between the tables and very clean and simple. The music brought me back to my childhood eating in Italian restaurants back east. We ordered 5 items. 1) The Chicken Alfredo was excellent(per my wife… I don’t like Alfredo myself). The side salads were good and the bread sticks were amazing 2) My daughter ordered Tortellini 819 in a Tomato sauce, asparagus, artichokes, spinach and peas. She added chicken. It was not what she expected, a little closer to a soup than a pasta dish but that didn’t stop her from eating it. The dish was delicious(i got to taste it too) 3) I ordered Meatball slider appetizer(3) and a Chicken Caesar Salad. — The meatball sliders were the best I’ve ever had. The rolls had to be fresh made and were unbelievable(I’m going to have to try the Meatball sandwich next time. Hope the bread is the same) — The Chicken Caesar Salad was good. The size was good, the bread stick amazing and the dressing flavor was very good. The only complaints I had was the lettuce and chicken was cut up a bit to small and a few pieces of the chicken were a little over cooked(If they use the same size chicken as they do in the other pasta dishes it would have been perfect). The salad also didn’t have enough dressing but that was easy to fix with a side of dressing. This is the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars. 4) For desert we ordered the chocolate bomb. It was a fudge brownie, with chocolate and caramel sauce, whip cream and vanilla ice cream. It’s nice to be able to order a brownie desert and not have nuts in it. The portion was good for the 3 of us and there was nothing left if that tells you how good it was. Lastly, the staff was outstanding. Dressed alike in black which seems to be a lost art in many new restaurants. I believe our waitress was Jessica and she stayed on top of drinks, checking to make sure everything was OK but not hovering. She did a very nice job If I could do a 4.5 I would but looking at other dishes that went by our table during the evening I bet I’ll have other opportunities to hit that 5 We will be back…

Not great but not bad either. The only word that comes to mind to describe this restaurant is «meh.» I don’t know if they claim to make the food they serve from scratch but, if they did, the taste is not all that far from store-bought-frozen-pasta-sauce. Their only saving grace is that they have a very attentive waiter staff. Mostly high-school aged girls which know very little about the food they serve but who do a good job at keeping your water glass full.

Fresh made apple juice, flavorful artichoke dip(although a little salty was good), thee best spinach salad I have ever had and the meat lasagna made for a very nice dining experience. Only complaint was that the marinara was a little too sweet for my taste. The staff was exceptional and very attentive. Great place with a traditional Italian atmosphere.

I love coming to eat here! The food always tastes like perfection and I always get the best waitress. My order was messed up once and she took care of it right away. The restaurant is always completely clean, looking absolutely nice every time I walk in. Amazing food and service without a doubt! The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was because they definitely need more staff and I would not ever order their bread sticks again. They’re always hard and burnt. Other than those two tiny flaws, this place is amazing!

What a pleasant change. We had eaten here about a year ago and at that time they would have gotten 2 stars from me. Went again just because everyone deserves a second chance. What a delightful meal, atmosphere and good Italian food. I had the Chicken Parm and other than to much sauce on the spaghetti that is a personal preference, not a fault of the chef it was yummy. Definitely tip, upgrade to the spinach salad it was well worth the $ 2.00 more with the homemade dressing. Service was excellent! We will be back, the menu was very extensive so I might as well try it all.

Came here with a large group and the servers were amazing! We had a group of 19 adults(all separate receipts) and she was able to keep everything organized and make sure everyone got exactly what they ordered. The food was also fabulous! My only complaint was that the ravioli was swimming in the sauce. The sauce was delicious! Just a bit too much. I probably could make a serving of pasta and use the remaining sauce for a other meal. I could see this being used as a great place for parties since they have a full upstairs with a bar and plenty of room. Easily could fit 50+ people. I would definitely come again if I were in the area.

Great food. If you like freshly made Italian food and don’t mind the wait you should check out Pinocchio’s in Brighton. I had the Veal Parmesan with Spaghetti and my husband had the Best of Both worlds; lightly breaded chicken with spaghetti and fetuccini alfredo. The bread sticks are homemade dough.

The calzones are excellent, need I say more? The cheese and bread make an awesome combination.

I saw the prior reviews and had not the highest expectations. Boy, was I surprised. I think Pinocchio’s has some basic dishes that may not rise above, like spaghetti and meatballs. But if you dig deeper, you find better. I ordered the angel hair pomodoro, which has a light but savory tomato and basil sauce. I added sun dried tomatoes, shrimp, mushrooms and buffalo mozzarella. Spectacular. Served beautifully plated, hot and delectable. The service from reservation, greeting, wait staff to bussers, was friendly and attentive. On this night my experience was 5 star.

We stopped at Pinnochios on our way home from Denver. What a great discovery! We had stuffed portabello mushrooms as an appetizer… they were filled to the brim with yummy, gooey cheeses and sauce and absolutely delicious. Served with crunchy toast bites they were a meal by themselves. Our entrée was manicotti with Alfredo — perfection! Hot, mouth-watering and enough to share. The service was impeccable, as well. We will be going back and taking friends with us! One cute aside… each table has a unique set of adorable salt and pepper shakers. It was fun to look around at what the tables near us had!

The sauces here are soooo good! I drenched the toasted ravioli in its’ sauce and wanted to lick the plate. The sauce on the chicken marsala was light and didn’t taste too mushroomy like some of the other sauces I’ve had. I liked the baked gnocci best. It was really cheesy with lots of Italian sausage and meatballs. The portions are big and A and I were both stuffed at the end of the meal. The owners are so nice and the rest of the staff are all friendly. It really feels like you’re dining with family and eating a home cooked meal here.

If only I could give 0 stars. We called last night and shared our food needs. We were told that there would be several choices for us. Today we came in and were told the only things on the menu we could have were drinks. Rude service, rude manager, and completely worthless restaurant.

Thursday night, 7pm ish. We came in and were seated immediately. Wife’s pesto bowie pasta with shrimp tasted good, but was drowning in sauce. I ordered the pasta primavera. I ate a few bites and was overwhelmed by the salt. Waaay a too much salt. It was inedible. I sent the pasta back almost immediately. The waitress took the salty mess and acted like it was not an issue. Wife finished dinner and when we got the check the dinner was still on there. Needless to say we won’t be back. Pros: Location. Quiet family place. Cons: Food Food Food

My husband surprised me and took me here for my birthday on a weeknight as neither of us had ever been there and it’s pretty close to us. When we were first seated the waitress put us directly next to a loud four-person group, whilst the rest of the tables were just about empty which seemed odd to me. They were kind enough to move us after we requested a different table, and from there we greatly enjoyed our dining experience. First of all I LOVE the quaint atmosphere of the place with the cute picnic tablecloths(small tables) and fresh tiger lilies at every table. They were playing classic tunes like Sinatra all night while we were there which was a huge plus for me and helped set a quiet, romantic mood. We ordered the breadstick appetizer which itself is unseasoned plain bread however the marinara sauce that it came with was to die for. We cleaned out the small bowl that the sauce arrived in, it was just so good. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo while my husband ordered the Hot & Spicy Calzone, both came with high quality garden salads that used a variety of greens instead of just the typical ‘iceberg lettuce’ salads that I’ve seen at so many other Italian restaurants. The plating of the pasta was very nice looking and it had a light, creamy taste although the sauce was a bit on the runny side. The chicken in the pasta was delicious. My husband’s calzone however was fantastic and massive, a huge round thing for only $ 9 which was a steal. We both agreed that my alfredo was«good» but his calzone was just amazing. I ended up stealing a few bites out of it and dipping it into the delicious marinara sauce it came with. I had also gotten a Raspberry Italian Soda with my meal and that was reallllllly really good. It had that light sweet and creamy flavor that was just a perfect compliment to all of the salty Italian food we were eating. I highly recommend it. Overall I would recommend this place for a cozy romantic night of tasty Italian food, I know the husband and I will definitely be back. Most dishes on the menu are anywhere from $ 9-$ 14 with large portions, and I think it’s a great affordable deal for the high quality of food.

Quaint little Italian restaurant in the heart of Brighton. First time here with the Mrs. and it was very good. Homemade Lasagna & Pinocchio’s pasta with sausage & peppers, s ide salad with ranch dressing was awesome, portions were perfect wine a little pricy but overall… really good! We’ll be back for sure… I’d even say it could be the best Italian restaurant in B town.
