My boyfriend and I stopped in for a layover and I had my trusted service dog with me.
When we checked in at the front they told me my dog needed to be under 40lbs and I was like 47lbs. The front desk person went and grabbed a human scale and told me to weigh my dog. Are you serious?
I told them they can not tell me that my dog must be under a certain weight and they were breaking federal law. They told me if my dog wasnt under 40lbs we couldn’t stay there.
After much discussion and explaining I would file with the DOD a complaint they finally allowed us to stay. They said it would only be for 1 night.
Serious they were rude and not very professional either.
