I came by around 9pm when it was empty to order and take out some boneless wings. I was the only one in the restaurant, and they didn’t seem to have any deliveries, but it still took me 20MINUTES to get my order. By the 15 minute mark, I tried to ask the workers about my food, but they had disappeared into the kitchen where I couldn’t see them even though I heard them talking loudly and making jokes. When I finally asked for them, one of the workers nonchalantly handed me my paper bag of food that had been sitting there for a long time. My order had been ready for a while but they were too busy fooling around to give me my food. Wings were mediocre, overpriced, and bland. Never again.

Unfortunately you can’t call in to order because they don’t PICKUP their PHONE! I wanted to call ahead so it would be ready to be picked up. So I drove there, ordered, and had to wait for the food. Turns out they have the wrong hours posted online. They don’t open until 4pm. We ordered hot wings and garlic parm wings and fries. The food is meh. Quality has definitely gone down. The fries were chewy and stale. The amount of celery they give you is also pretty pathetic. Will not return.

I have finally met a hamburger that was not worthy of the name. I have eaten burgers for more than 60 years. I have been a restaurant critic, a restaurant consultant, I owned New England’s largest cookbook store, so this is not my first rodeo as they say. I was making a chicken for dinner, so I decided to order a hamburger for lunch. I asked for medium, and a toasted bun. I even asked if they would toast it and the guy taking the order said ‘of course’. It was an order to eat there. So, they brought out the burger and fries. Burger in a clam shell and the fries in a bag. A few packets of ketchup came with the order. The tables have no condiments or seasonings, although there were plenty of napkins. I had to ask for mustard, more ketchup as 3 packets are not enough for the burger and the fries, and a fork. The burger was well beyond medium and had past well done a while back. Even with the dryness of an overcooked burger I could tell the flavor was totally absent. The bun was not toasted and felt like it had just been thawed. But the service, for lack of a better term was on par with the food, which was not good at all. Although the bottled diet coke was cold.

This place is HORRIBLE. My co-workers & I order from here all the time & the last couple of times we have ordered the food & service has been horrible. For example we ordered a few dinners last week & they left out the sweet potato fries that were supposed to come with one of the orders then today I tried again & I ordered a steak tip sub. Not only did it take an HOUR& a HALF to bring me by food but it was cold & wrong. Now on the menu it says NOWHERE that their steak tip subs automatically come with peppers & onions on it but when I called to tell them my order was wrong once again he said well my menu says it comes with peppers & onions you should know that, yetthe ones they give customers does not say that. When I called to request a refund of my money he told me it would be a pain for HIM to refund me & that he can give me a credit instead. Needless to say I will unfortunately NEVER be ordering from here ever again.

Don’t order delivery if you’re starving! Took an hour for delivery(I only live 0.5 miles away) and the food was only alright. Ordered buffalo wings, honey BBQ wings, fries and macaroni salad. Buff wings were very salty, but not bad. I preferred the honey BBQ(BF preferred the Buffalo) but some of the honey wings were small and dried out. The mac salad was very garlic-y and luke warm(yuck). The fries were packed in a brown paper bag and were soggy and cold, had to put them in the oven to crisp up. Overall this place is «meh» for delivery. There are several other places in the area with better food and much faster delivery(especially for the price!). Would maybe give this place another try but only for pick up not delivery.

Delicious local wings. The spicy pterodactyl and the garlic Parmesan are my favorites. I haven’t tried the other menu items because the wings keep me satisfied. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because there delivery is questionable. I was feeling lazy one night and didn’t want to walk the 10 minutes to get dinner. Delivery took over an hour. I recommend pick up, other than that a delicious lunch or dinner option.

This is a nice little shop on Washington Street. They offer a variety of foods in addition to chicken wings. I picked up a BLT which was done quite nicely. Bacon was nice and crisp! The price is pretty reasonable at about 10 – 15 dollars per person. The biggest downfalls are the lack of parking, and only a handful of tables to sit at, so it’s better to get your meal to go.

I pass this place on my way to work everyday and decided to give it a try, wish I would have done it sooner! I had the boneless honey mustard, the bone-in hot buffalo, mac and cheese bites and jalapeño poppers. For a dinner full of fried food it traveled pretty well. There was no shortage of sauce on the wings and they were perfectly fried and juicy. Jalapeño poppers were also very good, the mac and cheese bites were big, but not super flavorful. Wish they were open later, but glad this place is so close! I“ll be back!

This place always meets my expectations. Amazing wings. Wings Express also does the best boneless around.

I live maybe .3 miles from this place but for some reason had then deliver a couple orders of wings. It literally took an hour and a half. When I called to see where my food was about an hour in the guy who answered the phone was extremely unpleasant and rude. That being said the only glimmer of light in the whole situation was the food was still somewhat warm and tasted pretty good

Maybe the experience is better when actually sitting at the restaurant since we just got takeout, but this was a disappointing experience for us. Granted, we had a very large order since it was about 15 of us, but I don’t feel that’s a viable excuse for below-par food. To start, many of us got side salads. Literally the biggest joke I have ever seen to be completely honest. It was just a bed of ice burg lettuce, one slice of tomato, one slice of a green pepper, and one slice of an onion. I’m not kidding when I say one slice of each… like…one. slice. I’m not saying that I had high hopes for a side salad… but maybe something that looked less like what my cousin might feed her rabbits.(They’d still be hungry if they just got one slice of everything too…) So! I hoped my Crispy Chicken Tender Sandwich would make up for the lacking salad. My hopes were crushed… Now, let me explain that I am a sucker for honey bbq ANYTHING. I truly believe it was a flavor sent from the kitchens of the Gods… okay, maybe I’m exaggerating, but c’mon — that shit is BOMB. So, naturally, I got a honey bbq chicken sandwich! Unfortunately, the chicken tenders were nothing above average and probably would have been below average without the aid of the honey bbq. The sandwich itself was sad — a few chicken tenders on a sad white bun with that same, unfortunate lettuce from the side salad. This definitely isn’t a place I would necessarily choose to go again. Lovers of honey bbq… do yourself a huge favor and don’t succumb to this level of dissatisfaction. Ain’t worth it!(And DEFINITELY ain’t worth those calories!)

Best wings in town bar none. I prefer the boneless, but the in-bone variety are also mouth watering. Macaroni salad like ya mother made in her prime. Steak tips sexy and fresh and addicting. Fried snickers. This is the ultimate Munchies joint and the guys who run this place are chill. Of you want to cheat on your diet, or don’t care about calories, spend $ 15 here and you’ll die a happy, satisfied, and chubby man.

I’ve gotten the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and french fries here a few times. Both are okay. I think the wrap would be better with blue cheese crumbles rather than dressing. The fries are usually a little soggy. It usually seems like my food was finished long before the estimate they provided me. I’m giving Wings(Wingz?) Express 2 stars because there’s nothing exciting about the wrap and the customer service is lackluster. There’s never anyone at the counter when I walk in to pick up my food or to place my order. They’re always out back. It’s never been busy when I order, yet when someone finally comes out to the counter I’m treated as though I’m bothering them. Like they can’t believe someone would have the audacity to come in to their establishment and order dinner. I’m sorry that I ordered food and that you have to do your job for a few minutes. Lose the attitude.

I usually order from this place through grubHub. AND they usually deliver faster than the estimated time that grubHub gives. It’s awesome, especially when I’m super hungry. Hit the spot! I got the melted cheese fries and regular sized portion of the boneless wings at medium(buffalo). The melted cheese on the fries is like velveeta which is exactly how I love it. It was perfect for me, and I scarfed most of the large down. For the buffalo wings, I got the regular size but it was more than enough for me. I had about 4 wings left over. I usually like more mild spicy stuff and the medium is pretty spicy, but I don’t mind at all. I would say order an extra bleu cheese dip with the regular size. My boyfriend got the cornbread and a buffalo chicken wrap. He loved it all. I would say his favorite part was the cornbread(which I agree). It’s buttery and warm when it arrives! The buffalo chicken wrap is packed with chicken and has lettuce, tomatoes and bleu cheese dressing in it. All in all, I’d say a successful dinner.

TL;DR: Double check the prices The wings are good and their carnival food is a treat. However I was forced to write a review about the shady practices of the cashier. He’s a tall and lanky guy with a deep voice. I ordered 2 orders of fried Oreos when it came out he told me «$ 10 bucks.’ I grabbed the menu and double checked the price, he quickly said«oops, sorry. $ 9 bucks.» I think the real total should have been a bit lower. The principle of this is that he should have charged me the correct amount. Instead of trying to either: pocket the difference or make his restaurant more money. I see him there all the time talking with people I never see working there. He may or may not have a stake(definitely not steak because it’s a chicken place) in the company.

Very pleasant and very tasty. Only complaint was it was pretty quick but they forgot something and they said they would bring it right back but it took about 45 more minutes before the other item arrived… longer than the first delivery… Big menu, though, and very nice people.

I got a food baby from this place and in no way am I ashamed by this. I figured that their wings are amazing and so I decided to try something else on the menu. I got the Steak Tip Greek Wrap which I had to break up in two different settings because it was so filling. They don’t skimp out on the amount of steak and even after 2 days, the wrap wasn’t that soggy! Thumbs up. I also got the Fried Mac N Cheese Balls. I think a part of me died when I ate this. I had two and was STUFFED before I even got to my wrap. The breading is really good and the portions are enormous, just like the ones you would get from the Cheesecake Factory! Great staff and can’t wait to try the wings!

First, I just have to say that I’m intrigued that GrubHub spells the name of this place as «Wingz Xpress»(which makes me not want to eat there) and both Unilocal and their website have it as «Wings Express»(which is perfectly acceptable). Anyway, it turns out that last Friday was the busiest chicken wings night of the year — or something. We couldn’t get reasonably-timed delivery anywhere. Was it National Wings Day? Was it the awful weather? Who knows. So, we called this place solely because Wings Over Brookline was closed for delivery, with over an hour wait for takeout, and we’d already spent 15 minutes in mouth-watering anticipation choosing exactly which wings varieties we wanted. Now, I can’t really compare them to Wings Over, because I’ve only had regular wings there, and we ordered boneless here. It’s not a fair comparison. But I will note that they have three salad options on the menu and, while they may not have waffle fries, they have unbelievably delicious honey corn bread. Way better than waffle fries, as far as I’m concerned. Just thinking about it has me contemplating ordering lunch. I appreciate that, after we placed the order, they called to let us know that it would be awhile. That allowed us to decide if we still wanted the wings(we did). They unfortunately forgot a part of the order, but when I called, they actually credited us for more than the cost of the item(I imagine because they didn’t want to have to drive back). My only real complaint about this place was the menu. I need to know what«Roman Candle» wings are. Do they wear little togas? I don’t like super spicy, so I don’t like shooting in the dark when I’m ordering, and I prefer to read it on the menu, rather than guess. Roman Holiday? Does Audrey Hepburn come with the wings? But, turns out, this was actually a failing of Grub Hub, because Wings Express has the descriptions on their actual website, found here: (Sadly, we received neither mini togas nor Audrey Hepburn with our order, but turns out that Roman Holiday wing are exactly my favorite type of wings — and Wings Over Brookline doesn’t sell them). The wings themselves were delicious. It’s just unfortunate that the ones that were left out were the ones that I was actually planning to eat. Ah, well. I have loads of leftovers, which I turned into some delicious buffalo mac and cheese, so I’m happy. That one order, which cost about $ 45, is going to wind up feeding me for about a week. Excellent value for the money, and actually close enough to walk if there weren’t a thunderstorm. I’ll be back.
