I herd about this place from a freind who gets his work done there. I am greatly happy with the work that was done on my arm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone near the area. Everyone there is very nice and friendly. It is a laid back environment and my experience(my first) will not be my last. Each tattoo artist there has skill and they are very out going. So thanks Flash effects !!!

I did some looking around and had heard about this place and how awesome it was so going into it I had little worries. Boy did that change about 20 minutes into my tattoo. I was getting a poem on my side just under my arm. Nothing too elaborate or crazy. Just simple text. The«artist» working on me stopped just after a few words had been done to tell me that«he f****** up». What was supposed to be the word ‘dawn’ became ‘dawE’. As livid as I was I tried to keep my calm and figure out a way to correct the mistake. He along with everyone else there couldn’t come up with anything due to spacing issues. This is when I found out he was relatively new there coming from another shop. Now I can handle a mistake, even if it’s a permanent one. What really turned this whole experience into even more of a mess was the fact that the owner,(once I made certain he was notified of it), took no concern into what had happened. Nothing more than a quick suggestion of how to fix it without even looking too extensively at the mistake. His suggestion wasn’t able to work anyway. Along with taking no interest in it he proceeded to try and convince me that it wasn’t too bad and you could barely notice. NO it’s the first thing you’ll notice, it’s blatantly obvious. With all this being said, I will never be going back there for anything. Maybe I just got a bad guy and everyone else is really skilled, but by the way the owner handled the situation, I couldn’t believe it. Had he really have tried to help instead of trying to get me out of there, maybe I could see it as a respectable place. Not now however.

Great staff! Reasonable prices! Carl did a wonderful job customizing my original design and made the whole process more comforting. My tattoo came out wayyy better than I thought it would. I would definitely go back as well as recommend them to anyone!

My friend and I went here to get piercingly together and had one of the worst experiences. We have piercings and tattoos, we know how these things work. The guy piercing is only 21 but he has ‘years of experience’. My friend got her tragis done, and I had my lip. We both sat in the chair for at least 10 – 15 minutes each while he was fumbling around looking for his supplies. He kept pulling out packages saying, oh why is this ppen, i dont know why this is here. This is your station you’re the only piercer here! He went to go pierce her ear with a gauged needle that wasn’t even the right size. Then he let the needle slip out when he was looking for yet another tool and had to shove the earring through the hole that had closed. These things do happen, but by accident not carelessness. He pierced my lip, which went fine until the next day when it swelled so badly I started to loose feeling in my lip because he had put in a short post! I called the shop to get it changed to a hoop rather than a post, and he tried to say that they weren’t technically open, they were having a tattoo party. I insisted on coming in to get it changed. When I got there, there was food and drinks everywhere which is unsanitary. He didn’t have the right size hoop extension to safely change the post to the hoop so he had to gauge my lip with a 14g while it was already swollen. They didn’t give us saline solution on top of everything because they were ‘out’. Worse piercing experience ever. I will never go back there ever again. BEWARE! If you’re into pain go here, but if you want a normal, relatively painless experience go elsewhere.

Pretty big studio, for such a small business. When I went there it was the owner, Carl, and he had one other guy working for him. Carl prides himself on finding people that know exactly what they are doing when they are giving a tattoo. I love the work that he was able to do with my design that I showed him. He took it and put his own little flare on it. He worked fast, but not sloppy. Carl is very good at what he does, and my experience there would definitely make me recommend other people to go there as well.
