Extremely unfriendly. Got a new bowling ball for Christmas and wanted it drilled. Got there at 3:50pm pro shop closed at 4pm. Very rudely– was told he had already clocked out and next time he was going to be in was Tuesday(5 days later). Drilling a bowling ball takes all of 15 minutes(know from man in Kingsport). This is the second time I have had trouble with the pro shop. On top of that, myself and 3 others wanted to bowl for an hour which costs $ 11/lane before 5pm. When we got to check out the total was $ 44. Once again, very rudely we were told sorry there was nothing he could do. Although we had specified we wanted the hour rate for the lane. Not very good customer service. Drive the extra 20 min and bowl in Kingsport.

John the guy at the front desk seemed very put out. He was a bit of an ass. He was also short with others as they had questions or their bowls were stuck in the lanes.

Oh Bristol, don’t ever change. My friends and I relive our high school days here every time we come home for the holidays. It’s pretty much still the same olé place… just minus the thick cloud of smoke. And, we’re old enough to drink. well, legally that is. Large draft beers are $ 2.50. Yes, $ 2.50. The next day draft beer hangover is free. Nothing fancy. It’s your standard local bowling alley. League nights, cosmic bowling, bumper lanes for the kids, game room. Juke box with a little bit of everything on it. Expect to hear a lot of country… it’s Bristol baby. It’s funny to see how much Exit 7 has grown and transformed. When I first moved to the South, this bowling alley and the Perkins were basically the only places here. It’s night and day different now. Makes me happy that this bowling alley is still here and hasn’t changed a bit.

Interstate bowl is pretty much your local bowling joint. This place has 23 lanes or so; I went on a Friday night, was 4 in line and waited around 5 minutes for a lane to open. Lanes seem to have been recently redone; it’s definitely relatively nice. The bowling balls were relatively new as well. I’m not a professional bowler by any means(I average 130? Although I’m happy whenever I go over 100 lol), so I’m sure a seasoned bowler can gloss over the finer points of this place. This place also has a small area for an arcade with mainly old favorites, Galaga, Pac-man, and an old Deer Hunter. There is also a pool table and air hockey(YES!). The snack bar is limited; it has your usual snacks along with some hot food such as pizza, wings, and chicken nuggets, but honestly, I wouldn’t eat the food if it were free, but we’re here to bowl, and as long as there are alternative beverages, we’re gravy. Speaking of which, they do have 4 beers on tap(Miller Light, Bud Light, Michelob Light, and Amber Bock) for 2.50 a cup, so that price definitely bumps this place up half a star. The overall«niceness» of this place is a bit below average, but at around 4 dollars a game with 2.50 alternative beverages, you can’t go wrong. I give it a solid 3 stars. Oh yeah, I forgot, the best part. NOSMOKING! YESSSSSSSSS
