If you are thinking of stopping here, DOIT!!! We were passing through and the building caught our attention. It seemed a little sketchy but we are so glad we read the reviews and stopped. Easily the best fast food burger I’ve ever had. Get the Pal’s sauce!

Always good food at a reasonable price. You know what to expect whenever you pull into any Pals locations.

If you are ever driving by and see a little light blue cinder block building with a big wiener on top of it, you need to pull in immediately. Pal’s has to be one of the best little fast food hidden gems that I have ever stopped at. They take all orders at the window. There are no drive up mics or things of that nature. You give your order directly to a person and then quickly get your food and you are on your way. People are lined up here at every hour this place is open. They have great burgers, fries, hot dogs, onion rings, and shakes. They don’t hide try to hook you in their drive thru with tricks or toys. All you get here is great food with a fast friendly service that does not break the old wallet. You will get a huge bag food for under $ 10 which is enough for 2 people. Thier burgers are giant sized and appear to be pattied by hand. The taste is out of this world. They are always so juicy and hot. Their food is the best thing ever. I use to eat here every weekend and I live in Lexington, KY. Well worth the trip.

As a local o of course LOVE pals but being a military wife I have had to move away and I miss pals so bad. Go in the morning and get some cheddar rounds and a tea. You won’t be disappointed!

This drive thru spot reminds me of Pup n Taco or the old skool Weinerschnitzels back in SoCal. A small building with a drive thru and a simple, straightforward menu and fast service– burgers, chili dogs, fries n shakes. The Lovely Lady brought me here as she continues to try to fatten me up. Good choice. We ordered a Big Pal, chili dog and frenchie fries(frenchie? haha) to split and head back to the house to grub. I Loved the seasoned salt on the fries. A Half sweet tea/reg tea(southerners luv them some sweet tea). Just rite for a vodka splash for me… but I digress– The chili was meaty n tasty on the hot dog which has a nice snap to it. A lil cheese comes with it. Perfect. A small squirt of mustard took it to a 10. The burger came w/lettuce, tomato, cheese, and it hit the spot at the end of the night along with everything else. All scarfed down while watching some reality blah blah blah show… but the meal made up for it..

Had to try Pal’s on my first visit to TN. Read the Unilocal comments and saw pretty good reviews. The establishment definitely stood out on the road! Had to take a picture of it. The girl taking our order had that southern sweetness and was really friendly. She told us of the popular orders. I went with a hot dog and jr burger, frenchie fries and peachie sweet tea. The hot dog was delish! Was totally surprised that a dog WITH chilli, mustard, and onions was less than $ 2! The burger was tasty too. Loved having a thick white onion on it. Wasn’t too keen on the fries. It was a bit salty, with its season salt, for my liking. The peachie sweet tea won points with me too.

Pals is a local chain burger place that also serves breakfast, they have these cheddar rounds that are a huge hit for the area. Breakfast is served until 10am I would recommend the cheddar rounds and biscuit and gravy which costs about 4.50 and fills me up. Service is quick usually under 4 minutes in and out. Service is always friendly.

I have been waiting to get by one of these for a little over a year now. I had read a list of the top fast food burgers in the U.S. and this place was on the list. I have already had the big boys like In-N-Out, Whataburger and Five Guys so i had some high expectations. I was not disappointed. This place is a funky looking plastic food exterior of a drive through joint. Odd looking to say the least. But the food was solid. Had the double burger and fries and was not let down. The fries had some type of season salt on them which was great. Probably the fastest service I have ever had. I can’t wait to get by here again and try the other items on the menu.

Pal’s is my happy place. The fries and tea are amazing. Missed Pal’s the most when I moved away for a while.

I stumbled upon this fast food drive-thru on accident on a cross country road trip with my son and niece. It was a long day and the sight of Pals made us all upbeat. The food tasted fresher than typical McDonalds fare and the servers were not your usual angsty teenagers. We try to make this a regular stop when we pass through the Bristol area.

Not as good as In N Out on the West Coast, but great burgers and sweet tea.
