The good: cute marketing, and a creative idea for catering a party. The bad: communication. Don’t expect return phone calls or emails. I’ve been emailing and calling the Preppy Pig since November 15(two months) in hopes they would cater several events for me this summer. Patrick responded to my first email on November 30 saying he would get back to me the next day. Nothing since then, despite several attempts on my part. Darn!

Where to start. I would have loved to hire preppy pig to cater my event, as I have heard several rave reviews, however that isn’t happening. I originally contacted preppy pig in the spring and was quoted a price of about half of the contracted price by an employee who no longer works there. The staff is impossible to get in touch with — they very rarely respond to email and the phone number goes to voicemail instantly, prompting you to leave a message. The catering manager was too busy to send pricing or a contract and handed me off to Patrick, the owner of the company. It has been THREEWEEKS since I requested a contract and a price breakdown and have gotten no response. Do yourself a favor and search other bbq caterers in the area — they’re eager for the business and are willing to help.
