The food was tasty, but if you order for delivery make sure to tell them if you need to tell utensils. Delivery was slow and arrived lukewarm. We won’t be going back there, ever.

Most places I call for delivery are less than thrilled to take my order or anyone’s for that matter but they answered the phone and were incredible kind throughout the entire call. The food arrived timely and tasty… Fresh and hot, plus they delivered to Wolcott so this is my new spot for sure!!!

Just moved here and this place had the best reviews so we tried it out. Wow. It was better than expected. not super greasy and delivery has been very fast both times we have ordered! Delivery drivers have both been nice too. Definitely would recommend for a quick dinner.(Ps the pork fried rice actually has pork in it! Yay)

We LOVE Wah Lung! They’re food is the best in Bristol! The Crab Rangoon is amazing! I could go on all day about everything we love. The staff is always polite and the drivers are fast and professional! You won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in tonight for a take-out order. 1st time ordering at Wah Lung’s. We went with a Sweet & Sour Chicken combo platter, a Sesame Chicken combo platter, a Steamed Dumplings appetizer and a pint of Shrimp Fried Rice. Food range from average to decent. The dumplings were very large, but they were not very flavorful, I’ve had better. Everything else was OK. Overall, we found Wah Lung’s to be an average Chinese Restaurant. Parking is somewhat of an issue also, although there has been a lot of snow recently.

This place was absolutely terrible I got the beef teriyaki and if you like beef teriyaki with the consistency of beef jerky and taste nothing like Beef teriyaki next I had the dumplings they were also terrible they had absolutely no good meat and had some kind of nasty flavor inside of them the last thing I got was the shrimp toast the shrimp toast had no shrimp in it and was completely burnt never go to this restaurant ever amen

I’m not sure if Wah Lung is under new management or not but the food really was different this time around. I was hesitant to order food from there because of the recent health department shut down but it appears through much effort they re-opened the restaurant and are doing a much better job. I ordered the General Tso’s which was great and had a nice crispiness to it. The rice was cooked well and I think they have the best crab sticks I’ve ever had. My girl ordered the Boneless BBQ combo and crispy beef. She wasn’t impressed with it but I thought it was all pretty good. The crispy beef could have used a little more flavor in the meat but other than that it was good. Delivery was on time and the driver very nice. Prices are about what you would expect from a little Chinese place. About par for the course. As of right now this is my go to place for Chinese food.

I had said on more than one occasion that I would never eat at Wah Lung. It just looked awful from the outside and I had heard a few stories that were less than flattering. Sure enough their building was condemned by the city earlier this year and after the building and the restaurant were deemed ready they reopened at the end of the summer. So it was near desperation for me when I craved Chinese food and was too lazy to drive anywhere and I was less then satisfied with all the other Chinese food delivery options. Which brought me back to Wah Lung and some recent glowing reviews right here on Unilocal. So I threw caution to the wind and placed an order online. General Tso’s combo plate, chicken noodle soup and a side of chicken fried rice to go along with the pork fried rice that comes with the combo. Delivery in 55 minutes or less was promised and that’s what I got. I’m glad to say the food was all as good as, if not better than any Chinese food I’ve had in Bristol. I especially enjoyed both fried rice choices. It was greaseless and tasty. This place is definitely at the top of my list the next time I order Chinese food.

I ordered Chicken Low Mein combo which comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice but I asked the order taker person if I could substitute chicken fried rice, which they obliged me. I was pleased that the person taking my order was very easy to understand. I also ordered chicken fingers since they are a guilty-awful-fatty-pleasure of mine. I swear, I will just eat the crusty casing that chicken is hovering in these bad-boys. The Lo Mein was good; I was especially happy with the fact that they julienne the veggies in the dish. Too often chinese food place throw huge chunks of onion or broccoli or bell pepper without much care to eat-ability. The flavor was good over all in my entrée and I didn’t feel the need to run to the kitchen for my trusty sriacha to spice it up. I’ll be back!

I rate Chinese restaurants by their pork fried rice and their dumplings. A+++++ for the dumplings. they taste superb and are a generous size. The pork fried rice was A++++ as well, deep yellow, lots of meat and a delicious flavor. I live on a high floor and rather than have me meet them in the lobby they walked up multiple floors and delivered right to my door! A+++++

Wah Lung is one of the best Chinese places in Bristol. Everything is a cut above the others. With most Chinese menus and recipes being generic, Wah Lung sticks out because they make their own egg rolls and won tons. Parking is less than ideal, but for cheap, very good Chinese food, you can’t beat Wah Lung.

This place really isn’t that bad. The food is cheap and pretty good, and it’s close to where I work, so it’s a nice option for cheap take-out lunch. Lunch specials are a bit cheaper than other area Chinese restaurants — there are more options under $ 5. While parking is kind of an issue(it’s in the West End, and you have to park in a small lot across the street that’s used by other businesses too), I know Wah Lung delivers, which makes them a nice option for my co-workers who don’t want to drive and/or cross the street.
