Clean beach, decent accommodations. Get seats as close to the water as you can if you want any sun.

Gorgeous public beach on Newfound lake. I took swimming lessons here growing up, and it is the perfect spot for families to go. Much better then the public beaches on the South end of the lake. Newfound lake is so clean and gorgeous!

Great state park in central NH on Newfound Lake. Decent facilities, clean lake and a snack bar. Great for families & groups. Hiking trails snake along the side of the lake and offer excellent views. Best NH state park I have ever visited.

Lovely place to swim, only in the designated areas but there’s plenty of room. Floats are allowed but not past the first line of ropes. The water is clear and beautiful. There’s a lot of shade from the trees, especially in the early hours, which is great. Bathrooms, changing rooms, snack shack, a small park with a slide and some swings, volleyball net and picnic tables. Also, a beautiful view of the mountains!

We spent the day here and the admission was inexpensive, $ 4.00/pp. I enjoy a place with facilities and they have bathrooms, a changing room and also a snack shack which you can get so-so food such as a hot dog, and some microwaved items. Most people bring BBQ’s so they don’t focus much on food. The water was crystal clear and warm, tons of picnic benches to sit at and there’s even an area to hike if you need to get out of the sun for a bit. Wonderful atmosphere for familiies, no smoking allowed on the beach, they have a boat ramp, plenty of parking. They have lifeguards on duty and a designated roped off swimming area but unfortunately they don’t have any water sport rentals. They have no trash barrels so what you bring in, you have to take home. I will go back again.
