We somewhat by accident caught this singing group last week, performing live at the Coldspring Texas Christmas on the Square festivities and Parade in Coldspring, San Jacinto County and my first impression was«What on Earth is a group this talented doing in a town with the population of 6xx people?» I was so impressed that I actually went to a church service the next day to see them again, inside where it would be warm. I was blown away. I would like to be able to claim that I am a fair judge of music, as my father used to hang around with Johnny Cash, Mickey Gilley and all them, and of course my name is on ZZ Top’s latest album released(Eliminator Collectors Edition). Long stories there. But I was like, kind of totally addicted to their music almost instantly. And I normally don’t like much music the first time I hear it. So anyway, my wife and I ended up attending 4 more churches in just a span of 7 days(quite unplanned and almost unimaginable) to see these guys sing like 5 times and all I can suggest, is that if they come to a location near you, go see them. And get their autograph, because I know this group is under-rated, and they will become nationally and perhaps internationally famous. Several of their songs are some of the most beautiful I have ever heard in my life. If you don’t do the church thing or think you don’t or won’t like«gospel» music, don’t even worry about it. That’s apparently just what they like to do, and the combination of their voices is in such a hard to describe way, mysteriously captivating. We found watching them to be addicting. I hope they come back to Texas, but if not, we may actually just drive up to Oklahoma to see them again.
