We used him on the advice of our Realtor. He mentioned that the chimneys (two) had been relined. My lady and I both remember the comment. I thought it odd that the previous owner had spent that much money and commented on it.
We are now getting our second estimate for replacing the lining on the same chimneys after being in the house for six months. I am not screaming because I figured it was the case but now I am wondering what other «casual» comments are going to come back to bite us.
