The food itself was really delicious. I visited with my parents, who dine here weekly as part of their weekend road trips. I ordered a number 6; a top sirloin with eggs and hash-browns, and I requested sliced tomatoes rather than toast. My mom ordered two eggs and a ham steak half, and my dad ordered a western omelet. Critiques: my steak was ordered rare. It was more medium rare. Absolutely fine. I always order rare in case there is a new cook who hasn’t got their done-ness down yet. My eggs, I ordered sunny side up. As in most cafes, they just almost get them right. They were perfect on the yolk, but the membrane wasn’t totally done so I had to scrape it off. Pros: very large portions and the cook on my moms over medium eggs and my dads omelet were perfect. Coffee was refilled many times for dad. Service is average, hence the 4 stars. Nice ladies helping us, but they are all maxed out with the larger groups of folks. One table alone has a 10 top. They may need more employees on a Sunday afternoon, but they are all really nice. One last tip, parking can be tricky. Another benefit to arriving early. I say if you want a basic diner/café/restaurant meal, come on down and enjoy. I will be bringing my husband and son next time! Take a look at my photos and tell me it doesn’t look great!

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Bristow, OK
New management has taken over and I am pleased to say that it has taken a huge step in a new direction. The crowd is of course the same weird old people, but the workers don’t look grotesque and the place looks much cleaner than before. The food is much better to where I’d recommend it to others. The downside is that it is still not the cleanest place and the furniture hasn’t been updated.
