Once again Fuerst Auto took care of an issue without charging me. Brought the car in for regular maintenance and after picking it up and running errands for a bit a small problem(totally unrelated from why I went there to begin with) popped up. I drove back to the shop and Rick was nice enough to come out in 10 degree weather and spend a few minutes getting this issue fixed. As several times in the past when they fixed a minor problem they didn’t charge me. Sure, it didn’t take a lot of time but that’s not the point. The point is they treat you like you are an honest-to-god valued customer, and that’s one thing there is NEVER enough of in our lives. So, if you live within reasonable driving distance of Fuerst I respectfully encourage you to give them a try. I will not go anywhere else. Period.

This has been my experience: I’ve gone to them nine times with two different cars(I counted the receipts) — both American cars. Five of the nine times, I had to return because something was wrong with the job. Two of the nine times, I had to return more than once. They didn’t charge me for the additional work and they didn’t argue with me… therefore I gave them 2 starts(ok this part is subjective). The last time they quoted me about $ 950 for some work. I thought that was really expensive, so I went to the dealer(yes the new car dealership) and they performed the work for $ 400. I haven’t had to go back = the dealer did the job right. Although I’ve only heard really good things about them, I haven’t(unfortunately) shared that experience.

My dad likes them, so I do too. I recently got some work done and they seemed honest and fair in their pricing. They did however leave an air bubble in one of the lines going to my heater. That is no fun for the winter. My dad brought it back up to them(as I fear mechanics) and they fixed it immediately free of charge. Good customer service there.
