It’s a small-town bar. If there weren’t any other options nearby, it’s okay for bar food and a drink. Considering that there’s good food just down the road, it’s nothing special. The building is cool, and the interior is fine. Service was okay. The food is typical bar food. I had the Stone Haus sub(a deluxe Italian sub,) and onion rings. The sub was plenty big, and not bad– a pretty typical Italian sub. The onion rings were a little overdone, but good. I’m torn. Unilocal’s rating system calls two stars«meh, I’ve had better.» Which certainly applies here. But there wasn’t anything bad about it, just nothing that made it worth stopping back; so I’m going with three stars, «A-OK.» But then that feels like overstating the basically mediocre experience. Whatever, it’s a fine place if you’re in town.
