They are still open?
I was told this location was closing more than a year ago, and it’s still here!
Why? My cashier here today said they worked out a plan with the owners for a new lease, so they aren’t going anywhere. Which is good… sort of. Anyway, the overall store is terrible. It’s very clean, yet is very different from my normal AC Moore, and has a dirty, old like feeling I don’t like. The selection is average, yet there seem to be a few items they don’t have, consistently. For checkout, employees are very friendly and helpful.
Well, I guess it has gotten marginally better than my previous review…
Make sure to know this store does NOT have Custom Framing either!
Ultimately, the Brockton AC Moore is not on the level of awesomeness the Dedham one is, but for this area it’s ok. 3 stars.

I went in for jewelry clasps, that sort of thing. Candles, yarns, baskets; there were not too many dudes prowling the aisles.

Imagine my surprise when I was in Brockton recently and saw that A.C. Moore is still open. I stopped in and was amazed at the transformation of the store. I spoke to the manager and he said yup, we’re still here ! I’m actually glad that they’re still around as I’m heavy crafter and it used to piss me off at the condition of the store and the lack of inventory. The sales clerk that checked me out asked if I had a rewards card and I said no because I threw it out. He immediately gave me a new one. Will it be the craft store of years past? I don’t know but we’ll see !

Compared to Dedham, this location is Awful. The selection and organization is awful and the lines aren’t long, but not short. After coming here to get some supplies for an art project, they didn’t have the brushes I needed and the paint was all unorganized. The AC Moore in Dedham is SO Much Better!

Far superior to Michael’s, competitive with Hobby Lobby. Huge mid-priced yarn selection, including sacks of mill-end skeins and a $ 1 bin. This is going to be a once-a-week stop for me.

AC Moore stores are always reminding me of an episode of «Hoarders» for some reason, maybe because they’re stocked with busyness from front to back. Arts & crafts abound at AC Moore, picture frames, kiddie toys, stickers & stamps, flowers & holiday favorites, blank shirts & blank canvases. This AC Moore is easier for me than others with getting around and finding whatever treasure I’m there for. I’d recommend for those who like and/or need any of the above.
