To watch a cheap baseball game when your light on money this is a decent stadium to go to! Don’t worry about this place being packed cause it won’t be. You obviously won’t see superstars here, but you can see some players that might make it to the big leagues one day.

Home of the Brockton Rox and a concert or two in the summer, Campanelli is one of the best minor league ballparks in the country. From the end of May until September, the Rox play all their home games here. Parking is $ 3 or $ 4, and tickets run from $ 4-$ 8. The concession stands won’t drain your wallet either. A beer will set you back about $ 4, just a little more than what you would pay at a bar. Hot dogs, sausages, and other ballpark food are all a better deal than Fenway. Rox games are good for everyone. The level of baseball is good enough to entertain a fan of the game. They do the fun things between innings like sumo wrestling, and everyone’s favorite race after you’ve spun around a bat 10 times, for the kids. If you bring a kid who’s 4 or 5 and they end up not being into baseball, you’ve only spent $ 10-$ 20 so it doesn’t hurt to leave in the 5th inning. They do serve beer, but I’ve never seen anyone drunk there. It is a good family atmosphere. Once or twice a summer they’ll have a concert here. I was lucky enough to see Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan on the same night there a few years ago. The sound was better than I thought it would be. Since it’s on a high school, there is no tailgating, and they’re pretty strict about drugs and alcohol in the parking lot.(EVENAT A WILLIENELSONSHOW!) A Rox game is worth the trip to Brockton anytime. I believe after Friday home games, they set off fireworks. Check out their website.
