What a blast from the past.
I went into Macy’s last night and spotted FYE from the exit of the store into the mall.
I MISS YOU FYE!!! The thoughts from years ago about the old FYE locations (Dedham Plaza and the Walpole Mall were the stores I used to go to ALL THE TIME!). Why did you have to close!!! WELL: at least the Brockton store is still open! For what FYE used to be, it’s somewhat small, yet the store provides millions of CD’s, DVD’s, accessories, and electronics. Similar to Newbury Comics. The staff were all friendly and helpful while I was looking for some specific movies and old TV shows. Finding every one of them was amazing, and something that NEVER happens at Newbury anymore (unfortunately). I’ll definitely have to make the trip back to beloved FYE. I hope you never close (yet feel it coming on within the next 5 – 10 years…)
Make sure to stop by this spot if you’re at Westgate. It’s near the Macy’s end. 5 stars.
