This REALLY isn’t a bad store. Yeah, from the outside it looks like an old, boarded up building. But it’s most definitely open and has some great qualities. First, ample parking lot, this is NEVER busy, and always bare of cars(more reason I feel this location will be closing sooner or later). Second, consistently non busy store with a great selection of food, electronics, beauty, office supplies, toys, storage, and TONS of clothing. I only shop at Kmart when I have«surprise points» on my «Shop Your Way» account, that is a rewards system for Sears and Kmart. They continue to give out great coupons EVERY week, and in return, I visit the Brockton Sears whenever I have something great to use or are in the area. Plus, now that the Milford and Braintree Kmart locations have closed, it’s the only store left. Otherwise, if you aren’t using points, or are in dire need of something, this really isn’t the place to go. Without discounts it’s overpriced(probably why the rest of their stores have closed!), and is uncomparable to Target or Walmart. Plus, why would I ever shop at Kmart if the store is old, overpriced, and further away from my house. I still like using my points though, so I’ll give them some credit(3 stars seems fair). Also, Kristen P. at the checkout is amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Also, assistant managers Ashley & Marianne are also very helpful and kind. Will most likely be returning soon. 3 stars.

I suggest anybody stays as far away from this Kmart as possible. The store manager, Greg, was so rude and unfriendly I called Corporate Headquarters and filed a complaint(Not that that is gonna do anything, they are too far gone I think). He had zero interest in fixing my problem, he wouldn’t even let me finish talking. He just said ‘NO’. And my sincerest apologies to the lady at ‘Customer Service’, I apologize for walking in your store and asking you a question. I understand your private conversation with your co– worker is more important than helping a customer out.

Great service and location. The best store around if you want to avoid Wal Mart. The deals are excellent and the selection is perfect. I wish more Kmart stores were in the area.

Bought a Nintendo DSIXL online, it arrived UPS today from Kmart in Brockton, MA. To my surprise the DSI box was not sealed, the box was a bit beaten up, the large stylus had scratches all over it, and the small stylus looked as if it had been chewed on by a young child. Unfortunately I will have to return the item(hope it is a smooth return). Bad purchase but it is what it is…

How does Kmart stay in business? When Target and Walmart are within ten minutes of a Kmart, how would anyone choose this dirty, understaffed pit? It’s the closest discount department store to my home, but I just drive right past it and travel the extra ten minutes to Target to get a much better shopping experience(cleaner, better staffed, better selection).

I moved to the area and this K Mart is almost across the street. I’ve been trying to shop there as much as possible because they need the business. And it’s in my best interest to keep the store from folding up. The only problem I ever had there was the other day when the cashier wanted an ID to buy a 5-pack of cigarette lighters. I didn’t ask her if this was a policy of the lunatics at K Mart management, or the lunatics on Beacon Hill. Maybe if I were a teenager who looked like an arsonist or something, but anyone who can remember what they were doing when JFK was shot shouldn’t need a freakin ID to buy lighters.
