To Katie, the review before mine, whenever you say, «not being judgmental, but…» You are being judgmental. First, why didn’t you interrupt (without saying sorry to interrupt either)? If I was on a schedule, I’d have said something like, «Excuse me, it looks as if you’re the only employee here, if so, when would you recommend I bring in my return?» Geese, instead you rag on someone who happened to be there before you? Honestly, it had nothing at all to do with Lenscrafters, that was just you being a mean person. I hope you have had an attitude check since your review.
As for my experience, today, I was impressed with the fact that my appointment was on time, the staff in the optometry area were attentive plus, I felt like my new prescription was going to be spot on, with all of the time and testing they performed. More so than even the non-​chain doctors I’ve had in the past.
Now, out in the show area, I knew exactly the brand and style I wanted, so I waited for one of the two floor saleswomen to finish with their clients (I never noticed if they were in cheap shoes, knew I forgot to judge them). As soon as I sat down, one lady said to me, «I’ll be with you shortly.» She was too! Pleasant, not high pressure sales, and my glasses look and feel fantastic!

Uggggghhhh … this is the closest Lens Crafters to where I work and I needed to return two pairs of sunglasses. Figuring I could slip out of the office for an early lunch, I went over on a Monday morning around 11. There was one woman working helping another woman pick out eyeglasses. I counted 34 pairs that she was trying on. How do I know this? Because I stood there for 10 minutes. Now, this customer had a blatant knock-​off Coach bag, pajama bottoms, and Ugg boots. At what point did the saleswoman think the lady was going to splurge on a pair of Prada glasses? Not to be judgmental but come on…
When I was finally recognized, I explained that I needed to return two pairs of sunglasses. I bought them over Christmas and I just didn’t like them as much as I thought I would. You would have thought the sales woman was being asked to donate a kidney rather than do her job. When she asked for the receipt, I showed it and she snatched it out of my hand.
«If they’re damaged in any way, they can’t be returned,» she huffed. «They were never worn,» I explained. «We’ll see about that,» she muttered under her breath.
Originally, I thought about exchanging the glasses for another pair online. But with bad customer service, I’ll gladly spend my money elsewhere.
If it wasn’t for the fact there were other customers in there, I really would have told her what she could have done with the receipt she snatched out of my hand.
