I would hate to do anything to make the wait list any longer for LDI, but I have no option other than to give them five stars — wait list be damned.
This is by far the BEST day care center for your money in the entirety of Eastern Massachusetts. I know this because I have looked in every town from Salem to Plymouth (and everywhere in between), and anywhere you look, the rates are outrageous, the staff’s responsiveness is horrendous, and the flexibility /​hours are absurd. What working mother is able to pick her child up by 4:30pm?! Anybody? I didn’t think so.
My daughter has been attending LDI for almost a year, and the experience has been absolutely above and beyond anything I ever expected. On top of the rates being completely reasonable, the Director, Jessica, always answers emails within 24 hours (usually less), the staff is fantastic about communicating with parents, they follow all regulations set forth by the government, the facility is very clean, the playgrounds (that’s right, there are two) are HUGE and tidy, and the people who work for LDI seem to genuinely love their jobs. The level of education is also a huge plus — my daughter knew her entire alphabet by 20 months, which may not be «advanced» per se, but it’s much better than I could’ve done on my own!
If that wasn’t enough for you, Summer programming includes a magic show for all the families, a farm visit, picnics, Bubble Man, Olympics, and several family events to increase parent involvement in the childrens’ day care experience.
One more thing — they listen. If you have a comment, complaint, or encouragement, it will be heard and implemented if possible (and reasonable).
LOVE this day care. Don’t ever want to leave. That is all.
