I needed to go to Macy’s a few months ago to do some holiday shopping, and it was South Shore Plaza or this. SSP is WAY too busy to even bother with. The Brockton location is MUCH more my speed, in terms of business and parking-wise. So came into the store, which was DEAD, super organized and SO much better put together than it has EVER been in the past. Great prices, great clothes, and great selection. As well as an IMMACULATE store, 1 week before Christmas! WOW. Plus, many employees were friendly, specifically Adelio, at the checkout closest to the West Entrance of the store. Very helpful, and added a coupon to my purchase! Great customer service. Won’t be returning to Braintree. Maybe Natick(better store, just also much busier). And still an amazing clearance section. This is the gem of Brockton. Will not be shopping elsewhere for clothes(besides Sears). Brockton Macy’s has got it going on! Super impressed. Will be returning ASAP! It is crazy from how terrible the store used to be to how great it is now. It’s still not like the huge store in Natick, due to the fact of it being only one floor in size, but for what it is it is the best small department store still around. I will continue to do my shopping here and will be back in the spring. Definitely a perfect spot to go shopping at the Westgate Mall.

I’m writing this to specifically comment on my AMAZing service at the Estée Lauder counter. I recently went to the Taunton location where I was treated so poorly that I actually went home and ordered online– HOWEVER, Brian at the Brockton location was wonderful. I originally just went to exchange something and I ended up leaving w $ 60 worth of product! He was so knowledgeable, passionate and fun. I could have easily ordered online and received a huge gift but I wanted to give him my business after his amazing customer service. The ladies at the Taunton spot need to learn a thing or two from him. That is all :)

The place is easy to get. That’s a plus. Store is Always clean and less crowd to fight with. Not bad of place to get normal stuff. They finally upgrade and carry north face clothing, but they need more!

Ok I am rarley here. When my lady is in town, she goes through the following sequence once here. 1. Complain it has old lady cloths 2. Complains about selection variety 3. Complains Braintree is way better 4. Then spends 2 hours buying makeup and I am loaded with clothes she picked out for herself in both of my arms. I split the difference …3 stars

Go to this Macy’s if you want your Macys Credit Card info to be stolen. A Sales associate at an Estee Lauder managed to get my Card Number from a previous purchase and authorize a transaction that I was not even aware of. She basically signed for me as well! Please beware when shopping at this Macy’s.

Not the greatest Macy’s around, but convenient when in a bind for a quick pair of pants, shoes, scarves or other accessories without traveling over to one of the larger malls on the South Shore. It’s not always clean, given the area, this is to be expected. Dressing rooms stink and finding friendly employees can be a hit or miss. A couple of lady associates, one in the shoe department and another in fragrances are the best I’ve come across.

This place is hit or miss. It is a very small store. If you see something you like, you should get it cause it won’t be there next time. Very limited stock that gets bought quickly. Agree with the makeup counters, but there is no room for any more. Go to Braintree mall for items not found here.
