Family owned, by the nicest people! The Red Snapper was fabulous! The place is so clean and welcoming. I will be back!

Family owned, very customer friendly place. It’s more of a carry-out than a dine-in. I had the beef ribs, it was well seasoned and juicy. Loved it! My husband had the curry chicken and it was made perfect. Not too spicy with just enough flavor.

Very good food, I tried this place on my way from school and it was pretty good, so good in fact that I went back a second time in the same week.

This little take out spot is authentic Jamaican. I have had the pleasure of trying many of the different meats including curry chicken, stewed chicken, jerk chicken, and the Goat. They don’t skimp on the portions all orders normally come with rice and peas and cabbage. Not sure if other sides are available. They take pride in their cooking and will let you sample different meats that are available to suit your palate. Only downside is that all of the items listed on the menu are not always available when ordering. So it’s better to actually go in and see what’s available. This establishment is strictly take out and has begun to build a following. Location is conveinent and ample parking is available. So Out of the Many take out spots give them a try and be blessed.

Had the beef short ribs: tender meat, sweet sauce. You just can’t go wrong with this place! Staff is polite and even lets you sample some of the dishes. Only downside is what you see is usually what you get meaning whatever is available at the time you go, those are your options. Not to worry though! She told me they are working on having more of the options on the menu available throughout the entire day. Definitely recommend coming here for your Jamaican food craving!

Good stuff. Not the most amazing Jamaican food I’ve ever had but a very solid offering with friendly, helpful service.

Delicious Food, Reasonably Priced, & Wonderful Service. I found this place on Unilocal looking for Vegan/Vegetarian friendly restaurants in the Brockton/Easton area. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a few options for me. I had the Coconut Milk Rice & Peas(Kidney Beans, Jamaicans call em Peas) Fried Plantains & Cabbage. Everything tasted fresh & delicious. Since my first visit I have come back again and was not disappointed. I was told they can make Tofu as well. My suggestion: Call up before and see what they have ready before going in. Overall a great place with great food.

I was nervous about trying this place because I’ve never had Jamaican cuisine before. But boy did I waste time being worried. Everything I’ve tried here so far is delicious. The curried chicken and goat are safe bets for anyone. Everything comes with rice and beans and cabbage(the cabbage is amazing). The portions are large and inexpensive. The only thing I was thrown off by was the number of bones in the food. However, it’s completely normal as cooking with bone in meat adds a ton of extra flavor. :)

What a find! There’s not a lot of authentic Jamaican food around New England. Stopped by for takeout yesterday, and ordered the jerk chicken and curry goat. HUGE portions for around 10 – 11 bucks, including rice and peas, and stewed cabbage. So full of flavor, after that low and slow cooking. The goat had a lot of bones, but I kind of expected that, and there was a good amount of meat. Also picked up some spicy beef and chicken patties, which were also very good. The owners were great, too, very friendly. I’ll be back to try the other specialties.

Delicious food with huge portions for a good price. The owners were very friendly and happy to give us samples when we couldn’t decide which meat to get. I’d definitely go back again any time I’m near Brockton.

Ever since this restaurant opened, I have been dying to try it out! Going into the restaurant I was immediately greeted by a young lady who was kind and eager to help me choose the perfect dish for me. I had told her I had never had Jamaican cuisine before and I was going to need some help. As soon as I told her that, she let me have a taste of everything on the menu. Everything was fantastic from the jerk chicken to the curried goat. After paying for my meal, she thanked me for coming in and purchasing something from her restaurant. I am now going to come back often not only for the food, but to help support a local business that is run by the most kind and courteous people I have ever met.

Exellent food and exceptional service. Went there to get some food for some co-workers who’ve never had Jamaican food and because it was early, the Curry Goat wasn’t ready so Shakira(lady who takes orders) asked me where I worked and since it was like 10 mins away she offered to deliver even though they don’t deliver. This was my forth time there and it gets better with every visit.

Oh my what a great hidden gem. This authentic Jamaican restaurant is amazing. The spicy beef pastry is super. The fried dough called Festival reminds me of the crullers in an old time bakery. I wasn’t a fan of curried goat at my favorite Indian restaurant, but here it is tender and delicious. The Jerk Chicken is absolutely the best I’ve had. It’s like being at someone’s home in the islands. I eat here whenever I can. Don’t miss it. The best take out place in the city. Don’t miss the chicken escovietch

From the Boston area. First time visitor and will definately go back. Food is simply delish!!! Everything on the menu is a pleasing option. My favorite so far is the Curry Goat, seasoned to perfection served with either Rice and Peas or White Rice with veggies. I’m also a big fan of the soups with dumplings, yum!!! Especially during the fall season, great way to quickly warm the body and the heart. It was very hard to make a decision as everything looks so good. You get a great amount of food for the price. Overall the resturant is clean,(very important to me) and is in a great location. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

This restaurant opened about a month ago, and offers amazing Jamaican food. The restaurant is currently take-out only, but they plan to add eat-in seating soon. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes traditional jamaican food, including jerk chicken, curried chicken, curried goat, oxtail, and beef and chicken patties, among other choices. I shared the jerk chicken, curried goat, and curried chicken with my family, with sides of rice and fried plantains. The jerk chicken was incredible. The curried goat was my favorite of the three, with the perfect spice and a rich sauce. Prices were very reasonable, with a 4 piece jerk chicken dinner with two sides for $ 9.50. The owner was very helpful in suggesting items, and clearly cares about her food. I am happy to have this new addition to the Brockton area, and will be stopping by often.
