I love it here! If you’re in need of some pampering, this is the place to go. I was once given the full day of a Royal Treatment, I felt like royalty!

I had such a great experience here! The staff is so friendly, they went above and beyond to make us feel pampered & relaxed. This place doesn’t look like much on the outside but is cute & cozy on the inside. The spa is very clean(so important) We had the royal package which is Spa mani/pedi w/paraffin wax Light lunch Facial Massage Mud wrap This package was a full day of relaxation, exactly what we were looking for. By far my favorite treatment was the facial w/Coleen. I have been recommending this place to all of my friends & will definitely go back soon.

This place was clean, inviting and professional. All the staff spoke English as their primary language and are certified(I know this sounds awful, but it’s important to know). It was nice to have a mani/pedi and not feel like people were talking about you, and be able to have a conversation with the staff members while they worked on me. Their massages are also amazingly relaxing. The cute fireplace room is a great spot to wait and hydrate. Great value for cost.

After writing this review, Tranquil reached out to me and offered to make my next visit a better experience. Like I said before, they’re customer service is really great. And I enjoyed my last visit there.

This is the only 1 star review I’ve ever given. I’m sad I have to do it. Positives… nice facility and very serene environment. End positives :( The first time I came here was last year to buy my mother a gift card. The girls at the desk were nice but it took 24 minutes and there was only 1 other woman being helped. Not the brightest but they were friendly and apologetic. My friend raved about this place so I figured whatev I’ll get it anyway, it’s right near the school where my mom teaches so I know she’ll be able to use it. A few months go by and my mom books a french mani/pedi. They did her pedi then put her in a room and forgot about her. She had to go out after almost a half hour and tell them that she was supposed to be someplace and that she could wait much longer… they said, «oh we were waiting for you to come in for your mani, we thought you were a no show.» Total disorganization. The tech who then did her mani was furious and chastised my mother for being late late and that her shift was supposed to be over, blah blah blah. When she found out it was a french she huffed and puffed about the extra time. She rushed, made it uncomfortable for my mom, and did a crappy job to boot! My mom is not a complainer and considers spas a total luxury; she wouldn’t have considered it a bad experience unless it truly was. I told my friend and she said, «oh wow I can’t believe that, you should really give them another chance.» So I did. I booked a facial. They called me the day before to cancel because my esthetician called out. I booked another apt for ½ price because they cancelled on me. A good business move on their part… I had hope… My facial was not so good. I get them because I have milia and I wrote it on the form along w/other info crucial for some one taking care of my skin. The girl was rude and asked me why I go to a dermatologist if I’m happy w/my skin, in the snarkiest voice. I said, «because of my moles, I like them to be measured periodically so I know if they are dangerous,» trying not to be rude back ;) Then I said, «yeah I’m happy but I have milia b/c of the friction between my skin and snowboard mask.» She then proceeded to basically call me dumb and said, «who told you that?» I said, «my doc.» She went on a rant about how they are caused by dead skin cells and I should exfoliate better and that friction from the mask should in fact help b/c it is like exfoliation. She was just totally unprofessional in the way she addressed me and bad mouthed my Dr, the way I wash my face, and other estheticians who have agreed with my doc. She even looked me up and down and made a face at my clothes, I’d just come from coaching volleyball but wasn’t dirty. I was in Nike pants and polo.(FYI my Dr. meant that the sweat and dead cells being rubbed on my checks is the reason but I didn’t bother responding to the esthetician bc she was so completely into herself). That all happened in the first 10 min… kinda ruined the mood I got into while waiting in the very nice lounge :/Still, I relaxed and made the most of it; I have super thick skin and I’m mature so I was never flustered or rude back to her, I just deflected/dismissed all her bs which is why I think she came at me so hard in the beginning. When the talking was over, the facial was meh. The massaging was ok, the extractions weren’t thorough, and the lancets hurt more than usual. In the end, I tipped her like $ 40 because I only paid ½ price and I was raised to have class and tip for what the house comps you. That’s only half true I really just wanted her to see me pull a big wad from the sweats she cringed at and show her how real women act. Had it been a good facial/service I’d have given her the $ 35 I saved plus another $ 20… but it wasn’t good service. The milia extractions scabbed and my skin didnt look so hot the next day. Idk what her attitude was about but she had no reason to be haughty, she sucked! I’m a very forgiving client but after my experiences here I can’t recommend this place or say much good about it. These events were a while ago and I hope the place is better now but I’m not brave enough to try and see what my friend sees in the place.

So after my last review, I was given an incentive to try them again and I was pleasantly surprised. I went in a rainy day to have a 90 minute massage by Elise and was greatly pleased with her willing to give me the massage I wanted and not what she thought i needed. She used OIL!(Yay!). I was greeted at the door and promptly shown the relaxation room, with the great coconut cookies that I love and tea. So glad I tried them again. Its definately all in who you get for sure and when you go. But I wont be hesitant to go again.

This place is a diamond in the rough! Don’t let the fact that it is in Brockton fool you, the place is awesome! Jen, the owner, is an absolute gem, and this spa is like being in a corner of Heaven! I have been in too many times to count, and have never had a bad or so-so experience. Highly recommend!

I have gone to this spa several times over the years. I have had really great experiences, mediocre experiences, and 1 not so good experience. the last time I was there was this past July. I took my sister as a birthday gift. We each had 3 treatments done. I love love love the facials there and I think they are by far the best service they offer. The massage has been hit or miss and this last time it was just ok. The wait time in between treatments was too long. My sister and I were hot, bored and getting cracky, which is just the opposite of what a spa is supposed to do to your mood. The past 2 times I have gone I have been really disappointed in the pedicures. The quality was not as good as regular nail salons and the staff is not very professional… they chat to each other about their personal lives and I just don’t feel comfortable. I am not in a rush to go back, but if I do I will probably only go for the amazing facial.

You know that old saying.“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” You take that phrase literally here for the Tranquil Escape Day Spa. It is nestled in a strip mall right at near Christo’s(home of the Famous Greek Salads) restaurant. My friend had treated me and her for the Spa pedicure as part of my birthday present. I was Oh Boy, this looks so boot, but I was so wrong! You open the front door and seriously, you are transformed into a beautiful, serene spa. They have several rooms for facials, massages, body sculpting, waxing and even had a sitting room with several lush sofa’s and arm chairs and a working fireplace to relax while waiting for your treatments. We were escorted to a private manicures and pedicure room. The pedicure station had very comfortable big leather heated massaging chairs, I originally thought they were the shiatsu chairs and I got a little excited, but unfortunately they were not, you can’t win them all! I got a wonderful pedicure with the paraffin treatment and this incredible foot & leg massage from my manicurist Corin and I had my toes painted a cute fuchsia pink for the remainder of the summer.
